We had my kids' 12 month well check yesterday. They've faced a lot of digestive issues with solids, but finally seem to be overcoming that. Yay! They definitely seem to be behind as far as intake of solids, though, and still take about 24 oz of formula a day plus nursing 4-5 times a day. Our regular ped wants to leave our plan for weaning off formula up to our GI who we see on June 1. However, in the generic "your baby at one" literature we were given, I've read that you should transition away from bottles because of issues with cavities. My kids use sippy cups for water and (sips of) cows milk, but they never drink enough from a cup for me to feel comfortable transitioning their bottles to a cup!

If your LO continued formula (or pumped breastmilk) past one, did you continue with a bottle? Or did you transition to doing formula out of a Sippy/straw cup?
