Why does BumGenius do limited edition prints that quickly sell out and then people get to resell them for quadruple the price?? I don't understand why BG wouldn't just keep selling them at an increased price to help their profits. It would be win-win.
I looooooove the Jules print but can't find it anywhere for a price my husband wouldn't kill me for!

Haha, don't ever post this in a BG Facebook group or you will get yelled at. 
I know, it's annoying. I have learned that if I like a new print, I need to buy it as soon as it is released. So far that's just Piccadilly Circus, the rest are cute but I don't feel the need to own them.
I'm currently contemplating buying a Thirsties limited edition newborn diaper for a hypothetical baby 2, but I'm not sure if that's crazy.

It's not just a BG thing. Lots of the brands do this. I think it started when they would "retire" certain prints or colors to add new line up and they realized what demand there was for certain prints/colors.

@T.H.O.U.: Yep true. A lot of brands do this. People want fresh and new, and they can't afford to keep dozens of designs in production at the same time so they retire old designs and create new ones.
Anything that is no longer available will become hard to find, highly sought after, and market value will go up and up.

I wish they would re-release Jules! We got one at retail when it first came out... We had no idea it would go nutso on the aftermarket. Spence and Marie are cute though! I just got those last week.

Ugh. It's so annoying. After I missed out on Jules I went a little psycho to get my hands on an Audrey. A limited run is one thing, but when prints sell out in 5 minutes? That's ludicrous.

I've found the best thing to do with prints is find your closest small diaper shop, befriend them, and ask to be on an email list when prints come out. I've been getting mine with no drama, waiting, website stalking, etc. that way, and I much prefer it! If you don't have a local shop, the family that owns mine is super nice and I can wall it to you

This is insane to me. I seriously cant see buying a cloth diaper that quality wise costs like $20 for upwards of $100. I was a member of some cloth fb groups and realized how competative it was and had to block them. I was looking for deals on something for my kid to poop in....not a collectors item haha. I like the jules too, but its just not gonna happen!

I don't pay over retail as a rule. At the end of the day, it's something my kid poops in.
