Are there any kids shoes that you would tell people "Do not buy these shoes because of...."? I have one. The Crocs Duet Busy Day Mary Jane. They're SO cute and they're really easy to wear but...omg. THEY STINK. The first time they put their foot into that shoe without a sock? Forget about it. Foot and shoe both stink. Terribly. And the stink does not go away. Do. Not. Buy.

I have yet to find a pair of good kids sandals that don't stink within a few wears! We wash and do baking soda to help but I am always happy to throw them out at the end of the summer!

@catlady: we had the same and they smelled sooooo bad. I washed and did baking soda and a vinegar soak. So gross. But I do think that's most sandals like that? Not sure what other options there are besides natives/ knock offs?

I think the bottoms need to be a pretty solid rubber, lots of ventilation, and not too much fabric.
