Neither one of my kids can sit through an entire movie. They make it maybe 30 minutes tops and that's if they have snacks. That's at home...
We have attempted a movie with LO1 at the theater and she did pretty good for only being 3!

my 3.5 year old sat through the good dinosaur this weekend, but it was after lunch, during his former nap time so that might have had something to do with it. the week before i tried to get him to watch the little mermaid and he turned it off.

I would have said no until a couple of weeks ago, when she watched Big Hero 6. It turns out she needs fighting robots to capture her imagination - who knew?!

LO 2 (3) gets a little restless at home but she did well at the theater for Zootopia and Peanuts.

My 2 year old has a surprising ability to sit through movies.. I bet he could do two movies back to back.. I am not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing, but I think he gets it from his dad, who is a total film nerd!
We even did Zootopia in the theater and at the end he said "mas?"

Yup. He loves movies. We usually do a movie night on Friday or Saturday, depending on what we have planned for the weekend.

No luck yet at 4. We're going to give Nemo a try when it comes out this summer.

Yes but only if it's a Thomas movie. Otherwise, he gets scares and doesn't enjoy it. Most movies are too scary for him. He has the attention span to sit through a whole movie though.

My 2 year old sits wonderfully through the theater movies. My 1yr old not so much. So we go when he's down for the night.

DS1 - yes. He'll be 4 next week. But I would say he would sit through a whole movie from age 2 on! He has a good attention span. He even watches non-kid movies and doesn't get up (ie, Pitch Perfect!)
DS2 - no way. 17m. He'll watch some, play, etc. then watch more and lose interest.

Yes. Lo's ideal day is laying on top of me on the sofa, snuggling and watching movies non-stop

Mine can if it's about Thomas. If it's anything else, after fifteen minutes he starts going "can we switch to Tomas now?" I don't know how he's not bored yet!

My son will watch the whole movie, but he will also join in acting with the characters. LOL He gets very loud and we have to keep telling him to be quiet. The last time I brought him to the movies we were the only people in the theater. It was perfect. lol
