Last week I was in a pretty bad car accident and I'm expecting my car will be a total loss. I had 3 car seats across (two Diono Radian RXTs and one RFing Britax Boulevard G4).

Now, I need to get a rental car and new car seats, but I'm hesitant since I don't know how long this whole process is going to take and what car I'll actually end up with in the end (or even the rental, ugh). But, more than likely need to fit 3 across again.

Are there any recommended car seats that are slim and combination? My eldest is 4, almost 40 lbs, and in a FFing convertible seat. But, I'd like to get one that will last longer for when she makes the switch to booster (which I will likely delay for as long as I can). My middle child is 2.5 and my youngest is 9 months (90th percentile for height and weight)

DD wasn't a huge fan of the Diono seat.. She said her Britax was more comfortable. I think it had to do with her overall angle and the way her upper legs were positioned (Diono seems to be an 'L' shape whereas the Britax curved up a tiny bit and hugged her legs a little better?). Both seemed cushioned enough.

So basically I'm looking to do 3 across as:

- 2 combination (4 yr old and 2.5 yr old)
- 1 convertible (under 1 yr old)

Anyway, would appreciate any feedback. Thanks so much.

---- edited to correct to "combination seat"
