I don't think there is a clear thermal shift there but the EWCM and the HSO cervix would indicate ovulation around that time... The horizontal line is your cover line. They use some weird formula to get that. It is like an average of your previous 6 temperatures (before ovulation) plus .2 or something like that. It's just supposed to help you see the biphasic pattern.

As for symptoms, that totally depends on the person. Some people have them before, during or after and others not at all. Some feel ovulation pains before they ovulate, some while, some after so it totally depends on the person... You just have to track that for a few months and see what your normal is.

I would think that if you did ovulate, you might want to get your progesterone levels checked because your temps really haven't risen much and your "fall back" (where it dipped back down) can sometimes indicate lower levels of progesterone I think.

Do you always O that late?

@stiletto_mom: Well looking back at your "chart" from last cycle, you noted EWCM almost on the same day of your cycle, so maybe you do just ovulate late. But I would still be a little wary of such a low shift. Do you ever spot in the last part of your cycle?

@stiletto_mom: It likely all points to a luteal phase defect. Spotting, low temperatures and late O all indicate an LPD.

I went to a doctor with just the spotting issues and they ran tests. I think you can go to a doctor and tell them you are TTC and you're concerned with your long cycles and spotting mid cycle.

are you taking OPKs to see if you're at least surging? I'm no professional but I would question whether you even ovulated based on that chart. Can you send it to your doctor?

@stiletto_mom: you also might want to try to change the detector (in settings) from advanced to FAM which is the strict charting method advocated for in TCOYF. It's a little less generous.

@stiletto_mom: I mean, it's hard to say since you aren't totally sure when you ovulated. Keep charting and see what happens.
