Anybody in Pittsburgh on here? I'm looking for recommendations of daycare centers.
I'm currently pregnant with twins (8 weeks) so it's quite possibly daycare for two will be more than my husband makes, and he'll end up staying home with them. But I want to start getting some prices and get us on a couple waiting lists just in case.

What area are you looking in? We don't live in Pittsburgh anymore, but I grew up in that area and have lots of friends with their little ones in daycares - mainly to the south though (Mt. Leb/Upper St Clair) so I'm not sure if that's useful to you!

@raspberries: I'm looking more in the East End area. Also open to South Side which is where my office is.

I've heard great things about JCC.
You will pay a premium for being in the city, though, especially East End.
ETA: Try searching for higher ratings in Keystone Stars. DD goes to a four star place and it is awesome.

@Ms. RV: Thanks! With two it's quite possible DH will have to stay home with them. Our threshold is about $1600/month. Though this could be revised upwards depending on what health insurance might cost him under Trumpcare or whatever it's going to be next year. (The uncertainty around that really does not help for future budgeting!)

@dominobee: I live in Westmoreland County, and I pay about $815/month for a one year old.
