I'm too fat. I have gained too much weight already in the first half of pregnancy (doctor said so today).
I just don't have the energy for exercise or healthy meal planning this time around

@sorrycharlie: I don't even want to say it out loud but I've gained 20 so far Averaging 6 lbs a week - yuck. I only gained around 30 total last time. Blahhhhhhh

My basement flooded last night. M is out of town. Cleaning up a bunch of standing water with a belly was really uncomfortable. I may have cried twice today. Plus my OB is taking a leave of absence and won't be able to deliver our baby. Not the best day.

@sorrycharlie: @cmomma17: I was also up 20 lbs at 22 weeks. I hadn't weighed myself so when then nurse got that number I was pretty thrown off. I don't feel bigger than last time, so I'm not fretting over it. My total gain was 30 last time.

I'm so effing tired. I walked a mile today (normal for me) & ran about .3 of it (i usually run 1/2 but it's been making me too tired) then I spent the rest of the day (ie LO'S naps) cleaning out our closet & I'm wiped. I yelled at DH, I yelled at LO & I don't know where the energy to clean the food up in the kitchen & to meal plan is going to come from.

I worked overnight last night and was only able to sleep about 2.5 hours after getting home today, so that's my total for the past 36 hours

Along with being exhausted, my hips / back are killing me, I'm getting migraines and can't take my medications, and the constant BH contractions are really taking a toll on my body. Baby's not quite ready to be done (34 weeks), but I am!

Oh, and reflux. Yuck.

@yellowbird: Same. I had to wear a big tank top under my (large) scrub top last night so that I could be sure that my belly wouldn't hang out At least I work in a hospital so I can steal big giant scrub tops!

My thighs are so sore from my workout yesterday! I'm hobbling around.

My baby is being difficult about sleep. Things seem to keep getting worse rather than better and if she doesn't knock it off soon I think I'm going to loose the debate with my husband re: sleep training.

My students acted bored out of their mind today while I taught about the senses. This is one of my favorite topics and I have lots of interesting facts to share to help them relate to the material, but they were so not into it. Now I have to go home and attempt to write a paper without passing out. Bah!

@cmomma17: haha I'm almost 40 weeks and I'm up almost 40 lbs. Plus I was overweight to begin with. My doctor has not said anything to me. He's a smart man.

My back is killing me and I'm super uncomfortable. Not to mention impatient to meet baby girl!

i'm ready to be home.

Sharp pain in the back of my ribs/shoulder blade area. Rib pain up front. Sciatic pain on the right. General "I'm 37.5 weeks pregnant and everything kind of hurts":-D.

I just got excited about working my new position at work and now I come down with a cold or something. One of my managers came to work sick last week and coughed all over the place. She's still sick and now has a fever, so I'm crossing my fingers that I did not catch it from her. Why do people come to work sick?!?! So selfish!! I'm hoping I just have a regular cold and I'll be well in a couple days...

I had a fever yesterday and left w/ a lingering cough today.

Plus the usual of can't sleep, back hurts, etc

@Mrs.Panda: I'm thinking of doing just that! I need to get some of those snap tops or a white jacket

I feel lonely/sad today. My husband is having a bad week, so I have to care for LO 100% of the time, even though I feel super nauseous and tired. My mom and sister are not super supportive of this pregnancy (given my husband's health issues), so I can't really call them for support. I haven't told any friends yet, just two coworkers. I tried to talk to my husband and he told me to stop...said I was making him feel bad. All I said was that it was hard, but I guess that made him feel bad about not being able to help more Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day.

@Iced Tea: I'm really sorry. I wish you could have your shower earlier. If it makes you feel any better, I had mine pretty late, just a couple weeks before I was due, because that was the only way my mom and sister could be there (they came early for Thanksgiving, I think my shower was on the 19th or something, and I was due 12/7). My sister was the one who planned it. It all worked out, but it was hard for me not knowing what to buy. I ended up buying almost all the essentials before the shower, so that I felt prepared, and only left stuff on my registry that I needed for later on or needed in duplicate. The day after my shower, I placed large Amazon and BRU registry completion orders and everything arrived a couple days later. So even though it wasn't ideal, it worked out totally fine! Good luck.

@Iced Tea: Um, that is really annoying! "Oh, no, we would not want the celebration of the miracle of my baby to put a damper on anyone's holiday season! So yeah, we'll TOTALLY wait until RIGHT before I deliver so that I can't get anything organized and have no time to pick up the things that I don't receive but still need! Thank you SO MUCH!"
