That sucks!

My dd went I think a week without being sick and it's back to having a cold it seems... I noticed my seven week old started sounding a little congested yesterday too. If he's sick this would be his third cold already.

Whoa! That's a lot to deal with! Hope it comes back on today!

My complaint is so selfish or spoiled. My MIL has the Spode Christmas tree dishes, and last year she sent me four place settings of it to start my own set. Which is lovely and all but I live in a 1000 sq foot 2 bedroom condo and don't really have space for stuff we use every day, much less stuff I can only use a few weeks out of the year. This year, she already sent me another 4 place settings. I'm about to have our second baby in this condo and it's bursting at the seams already, but there is just no way to not keep these dishes without being really rude. So we will have to find a place to store them. Plus she knows we will move within the year so we will have to move them as well. It's a nice thought but just so not practical right now!

My complaint of the day is pretty petty. I just hate football days. We only have one TV with cable and it is in our main living area that is baby proofed and has all the toys. So every Sunday my option is to sit in front of football all afternoon (noooooooooooooo) or find somewhere to take LO (which just gets old and annoying). I hate football. harumph.

I am solo parenting today and DS woke up for the day at 4 am, refused his nap and smeared poop all over the chair in his room (he's in a toddler bed) then promptly fell asleep in the car when I gave up and decided to take him to a trampoline park. We are sitting in the parking lot right now and he has been asleep for 40 minutes..

@rachiecakes: this isn't even hers- she's buying me new sets! But she also will send us things from DHs childhood, which are really lovely, but when someone lives in a small space you don't ship furniture cross country without checking first. (In this case, a cute but impractical little toddler sized ornate chair. That my then one year old loved to stand on and threaten to tip over and smash her head on the floor).
