DH and I have been married for a little over 4 years, but have been together for about 7
I work full time at a non-profit, helping people with disabilities
    I live in Texas
My DH and I love animals, and have 3 dogs and 2 cats

Hi! I don't post a lot, usually in the TTC and my due date board, but I do read a lot of posts on HB.

    -I'm HappyBluebird
    -I'm 29 turning 30 in October
-I live in Maryland, born and raised.
-Been married for almost 3 years
-Newly pregnant with our first, I'm due April 7
-We have 1 furbaby, a mixed breed pup that I adopted when she was 6 months. We definitely treat her like a child!
-I love to crochet and in the last year I've taught myself how to sew.
    - I'm generally an introvert who likes a small get together at home versus a party out on the town.

    Thanks for making this thread!

My name is Yin, and I'm a mother to two crazy wonderful boys - 3 years old and 9 months old.
I have been married for 4 years and together with my DH for 9.
I am a SAHM, and boy can days be draining but ultimately I love it.
I love everything about blogs and so sad that Google Reader no longer exists.
I cook more meals that I would prefer, but I do it for my kids who have allergies/diet restrictions.
I'm turning 28 next month and actually looking forward to being in my 30's soon (unusual, I know).

    Hi

Im a blogger but not a frequent board poster but I would love to change that and make more friends here

Im 32 and live in NJ with my husband of 8 years. My son Drake is 4 and my daughter Juliet is 1.
I use to work as a nanny but stopped full time after Juliets birth, before that Drake came with me to work somedays, I now babysit on the side and dream of maybe one day making an income from photography or blogging
In what little spare time I have I dabble in photography, crafting, reading, and researching & shopping for my kids.
I also would like to try my hand at writing a bit this year if I can find the time.
I hope to be TTC within the next year or so, I waft on spacing a lot.
Edited to add how could I forget I have 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels and 3 cats!!!
Id love to get to know more of you

@ninjaduck: what an exciting time for you!! Are you all set for your LO's arrival?

@ValentineMommy: We just redecorated my stepdaughter's room and while I thought I might have some decor/crafting skills, I was clearly wrong! I really admire people who do!

Hello Everyone! I've been soaking up HB content for a few weeks now. I'm not particularly active on the boards but that's because I'm usually holding a napping 5 month old while on HB. HB helps the time go by pleasantly!

I'm juggling managing my first baby and taking care of my 10 year old stepdaughter. Even though I work from home part-time, it's been harder than I ever imagined!!! Sleep has been our greatest challenge.

I'm 31 and my husband and I dated for 5 years before marrying in 2011. We both love traveling and try to go somewhere new whenever we can. I love cooking vegan/vegetarian and like @sorrycharlie, am pretty much a homebody.

I'm originally from Guyana, but since getting married my husband and I have lived in Atlanta, Birmingham AL, Indianapolis, and now Louisville.

@Chillybear: I know, I am an East Coast girl for life! Ireland is just amazing. I lived with 4 Irish girls and I'm still very close with 2. Their families really took me in as one of their own. I went back a couple of years ago to see where my grandparents were from and meet some relatives, and I am just continually amazed at how friendly people are. And for such a small country, there's so much to see and do!

@MrsBrewer: Both pups are adorable but Stella really melts my heart!

@Mrs. Chocolate: I've been trying to improve my photography and that post really motivated me to get it together and document my son's growth more! They were such precious photos and I'm sure that you'll treasure them forever. I love to look at my little one peacefully asleep, and want to capture that too.

My second favorite is the one on the magic sleepsuit! That post gave me so much hope for a few days until it arrived in the mail and baby wasn't having it! If there's baby #2, I'll use it earlier.

    @whenoceansrise: I love that song!

Definitely not new here but I'll play

I am cyndistar3, I am a stay at home mom to 2 (almost 3!) beautiful little girls that are 5, 2 and due in October. I met dh in high school and we were naughty and ended up having our first daughter our junior year of high school. That is when Christ found me and claimed me as his own. I graduated at the age of 16 and we got married soon after I turned 18. We have been through a lot together and I love him more than ever because of it. September will be our 3 year anniversary but we have been together for 7.
In my spare time I try to better my photography because I love it, I take pictures for people that wouldn't otherwise be able to afford them. My husband is awesome, he works at a drug and alcohol rehab facility and can play 13 different instruments while on a good day I could maybe play the cowbell. We recently took in my 15 year old sister and are in the process of getting guardianship which is a lot more work than I though!

Woops I think I wrote too much... lol life is complicated

    Eta pictures of lo's

@spaniellove: me too! I never knew there were so many of us!! I would love for Benny to make a friend, but sadly, he's dog aggressive. Typical little dog syndrome and not used to being around other pups, I guess. It makes me sad

    blogger / nectarine / 2600 posts

@Leah: Oh thats so nice to read. Trust me I am still on the beginning of my own photography journey. I also realized now that you mentioned that post that I wish I could get more sleeping pictures of my daughter now. I have been blessed (or cursed?) with children that wake up at the drop of a hat. I thought my son was bad until I had my daughter lol If the car stops moving she wakes up! Its crazy. Also she sleeps on her tummy and in complete darkness so its hard. You gave me a new challenge! I might need to do a nap series with her lol

The Magic Sleep Suit was amazing for Drake. I think it was just perfect for his needs and I do credit that suit for making him able to sleep on his own and be alone in his bed at night even if he isnt tired yet. Plus he entertains himself in the morning too. It didnt however work as well for my daughter though which I was shocked since it was such a miracle for my son. One thing I did notice is that my son even at 4 still sleeps primarily on his back (see my sleeping photos) I dont know if that is his natural preference and thus the suit worked well into that but my daughter has slept on her tummy since around 4 months when she started to flip herself over. I wonder to some reason if thats why the suit didnt work as well for her since she likes to be on her tummy even now (I rarely see her sleeping any other way on the monitor) and maybe thats why the suit wasnt as great for her as it was for my son

@sorrycharlie: Yeah that can be tricky. Depending on what I'm making and who I'm making it for I commit the ultimate crochet sin and knot it then hide my knot. That's probably appalling to some (most?) crocheters!

@spaniellove: Thank you We work with people with all types of disabilities. My program works mostly with kids with learning disabilities, on the autism spectrum, and with emotional issues, but most of our other programs work with kids that need help with physical, occupational, or speech therapies. We also have other programs, but pretty much every disability and age is covered.

@HappyBluebird: I tried knitting and could never do more than simple rectangles, I made jon a 7 ft long flyers scarf. learning to crochet is next on my list. I would love to make the little crochet stuffed animals that @Mrs. Chocolate: makes

@yin: Have you tried feedly? I moved there when reader closed up

26 years old, live in London, England.
Met DH at uni and we've been together 9 years, married for 3.
DS is 8 months old, a Christmas baby born on 20th December. He's the cutest and the hugest - weighed in today at 24 lbs!
    We also have a cat.
I used to work in marketing but now SAH with DS.
I love sewing and all kinds of crafting, but haven't got round to doing much since DS was born!

So nice to learn more about people!

@Chillybear: I did. I was okay at it on a competitive level, but really not that good. I stopped in high school for a variety of reasons and have been coaching ever since, which I think I am better at than actually competing! I've heard of TNT in jersey, but we didn't normally see them at competitions. I was always at PA gyms.
@Mrs. Chocolate: Where in NJ do you live?
@Leah: Thanks! We are mostly set. There are always things that feel unfinished, but I am taking a wait and see approached with a lot, so we'll see how things really go once my LO arrives!
@spaniellove: I love seeing a lot of people who live in this area! It makes me hopeful that I could make some real life friends from this. Also, lady and the tramp is one of my all time favorites! I've always wanted a cocker spaniel, cause they are probably the cutest (I met a puppy once, who army crawled around and I almost died from how cute he was!), but we are big on adopting dogs and two is our limit at this time.

    I'm JRuess.

    - I live in the Midwest. Currently live in the city but grew up in a tiny town (12 kids in my class from K - 8 grade) on a farm.
    I'll be 29 in September.
    - Met & started dating my DH at the age of 17. We will be married 3 years this October.
    - we are currently expecting our 2nd child in February. My daughter just turned one. We had a sparkle themed birthday party & it was the best! I truly love being a mom and still struggle with leaving her while I work.
    - we have 2 dogs - a bulldog & a pit bull. We also have 8 chickens and like to garden.
    - I'm an accountant & work full-time.
    - I love crafting & sewing but wish I had more time (& a better space) to do so.

I've been married to T for seven years and we've been together for nearly 10 years.

We also have two cats and one dog.
    I work in Marketing/PR for a non-profit and T is a wildlife biologist.
We live in the upper south.
