If you thaw the turkey (3-5 days), then you should be okay cooking for around 3-4 hours. We always cook it with the breast side up so that the meat stays moist!

We usually cook a 20 pound turkey at 325 for 4-5 hours.

Those times look a bit on the long side for a convection oven. I'd probably do 300 degrees and about 3 and a half hours to get to internal temp of 165.

A convection oven also dries stuff out more, I found, so have extra basting liquid and foil to cover the legs on hand.

It depends on the weight. 20 minutes per pound for 8-12 pounders and 15 minutes per pound for 12-16 pounders. I just got a 15lb one at Safeway for $2.98 total. You have to buy $50 of groceries. I usually love to get an extra one on sale for Christmas. Then if they go on sale again, I get another one for the spring. Cooking turkey for meals is one of our favorite ways to save money! If you stuff it...you might need to add 5 more minutes or so per pound. Remember, it cooks a little longer just sitting in the juices but you don't want anything pink.
