LO is 10 months old (8 months adjusted) and the little lady is scared to crawl! She rolls, she sits, she transitions from laying to sitting and vice versa. She reaches for things but gosh darn it the kid just won't go for it and crawl! I'm starting to get anxious! She still somehow manages to move around but shifting her bum around. Whenever she looks like she's about to crawl, she has one knee down, is on both hands, but the other leg is like bent with her little foot firmly on the floor. She refuses to put the other knee down! If you put it down for her, she sort of slithers to her belly. Everyone thinks she's going to just skip to walking. She loves pulling herself up to standing position and bouncing on her feet and she especially loves it when you hold her hands and help her walk. But I'm nervous that if she skips crawling it will lead to other developmental issues. I've had several people (including an occupational therapist) tell me that crawling is essential to other areas of development.

Sorry for the long post. Just wanted to share how I'm feeling and to see if anyone had any advice!
