If you had a 1st trimester dating scan, how far along we're you, and what did you see?
According to *my* dates I shouĊd be due at the end of March which would have me at six weeks if I have a dating scan at the beginning of August, EDD according to LMP is 23/03 which puts me at 7 weeks. Is six weeks too early to find the heartbeat?

I had a scan at 7w and we saw the heartbeat and a little bean with the ring attached to it. It was an awesome experience. At a 9w scan I could see the arm and leg buds forming. I've attached my 7w scan. I'm not sure about the HB at 6w.

You should be able to see a heartbeat at 6 weeks via internal u/s. Congrats!

one at 5 weeks (they thought i was 8 by LMP) and another at 7. at 7 they had the flicker of the heartbeat.

I've always pushed mine to 7 weeks so we can definitely see a heartbeat.

First pic is at 7 weeks we could see heart beat, second pic is exactly 1 week earlier at 6 weeks and we could not see baby and heart beat....

I was 7-8 weeks when I had my first scan and saw a heartbeat and what looked like a little gummy bear!
I didn't know you were expecting again! Congrats!

I saw the hb at 6w5d. 6w0d might be too early. I would reschedule for a week later if you could.

I would wait until you're 7 weeks. 6 weeks 0 days would be a fray area in my opinion, it may be too early to see a HB!

Even with an internal scan, I did not see a hb a 6w5d but it was there about a week and a half later.

First of all - congrats!!!
We saw heartbeat at 6w0d. The tech said if I had come the day before I probably wouldn't have seen it.

I had I think 2 at 4 & 5 wks where you just see the yolk sag. Then at 6 weeks there was a shrimp and heartbeat!

I was 7w5d during my dating scan and here is the pic. Just a blob. But don't worry, she turned out cute

At 5 weeks 4 days we only saw a gestational sac and yolk sac, but at 7 weeks 4 days saw a little blob with a heartbeat some people see the hb at 6 weeks but some dont, so dont let it scare you if ypu dont!

Thanks for all the well wishes and responses, ladies, my dating scan is booked for 11 August and I should be at least seven weeks by then so hopefully we'll see a heartbeat! I was looking through the notes from my last pregnancy and I was just about ten weeks when I had my first scan so baby had arms and legs and everything!
