@josina: Walking?!? So crazy these babes are getting so big!!!!!!
@snowjewelz: Best of luck to tomorrow
@MamaG: Hope K had a great day!!!?

@snowjewelz: Oh boy - climbing! I hope daycare goes well!
@winniebee: That's so frustrating that R's not sleeping well I hope that he pops some teeth out and gives you a reason for some of this!
@josina: yup - that's why every night is bath night around here (also because big sister gets a nightly bath and it's easy to toss the little one in too!) I can't believe he's so close to walking!
@Adira: go Logan go! I bet he'll pick up speed quickly!

@Adira: @MamaG: Molly is having a really hard time with Jack being mobile He's in to ALL of her things (because everything is hers, of course!) and she is super pissed. Screaming at him. It's really hard to watch
@KayKay: Poor thing I hope she sleeps better tonight!
@BandDmommy: I love the pink one!

@MrsF: Oh the poor older siblings. I've sort of resorted to natural consequences. I've given up on begging C to pick up her things. Tonight K had a puzzle piece in her hand, approaching her mouth (it was big) and I called C in to see what was happening. She was distraught. I said well, I told you to pick up your puzzle
I packed all of the choking hazzards from our play kitchen away. K has now taken to walking around with the pots banging them on anything she can. And walking is quickly becoming her mode of movement.

@FaithFertility: I've been looking on Etsy too, but nothing has jumped out to me yet. And I love your pumpkin patch photos! I can't wait to go as well. It prob won't be this weekend (aka our birthday weekend ) but maybe next?

@MrsF: I feel for Molly. Logan's not super mobile yet, but he ALWAYS wants whatever Xander has and Xander definitely finds it frustrating! I'm hoping it'll be a little easier when Logan is older and I'm not constantly reprimanding Xander just for trying to protect what's his (because he's not being gentle enough).

@Miss Ariel: We're doing a monster theme for Logan's birthday party, so I got him this shirt:

@Miss Ariel: Yes, there is a huge farm that does a fall festival this Sunday Doing a family day!

@mrsf: @adira: @mamag: we're the opposite over here! E doesn't really get into K's things (well, not the stuff that K still plays with although I suppose that technically most of it used to be K's!), and I always give E her own toys. But K always takes it and either puts it out of E's reach (on a chair, etc) or puts it away! I almost wish E was into K's stuff because then she would at least be the aggressor sometimes! I actually think I need to get K some toys for older kids -- floor puzzles and things, but I'm really trying to wait until Christmas...

@winnibee: how was sleep last night? I think E was just sick because she slept a ton last night (hopefully recovering).

@Adira: Logan will figure it all out soon enough but man the frustration can be intense when they are learning a new skill!

@KayKay: Bleh. Another 2 am poop sabotage...at least it wasn't a blow out. I had to feed him since he was irate over the MOTN diaper change. But at least he slept til 6:30 after that.

R has been letting go and standing alone for a few seconds at a time. I thought he wouldn't walk before 12 months....but....maybe He'll be 10 months on Friday!

@snowjewelz: how was daycare?
@BandDmommy: Can I just buy all your girl clothes when I have a girl?
Was going to post the shirt I was planning on getting E for his bday from Etsy, that I had pinned on pinterest, and it's no longer available! Back to searching... or figuring out how to DIY.
Here is what I was looking at...

@BandDmommy: cute dress!
@FaithFertility: All of G's pics are so cute! Kara is the same way, over the summer she kept lifting her hands/legs off the grass. But our grass was kinda dry/brittle...
This is my inspiration board for her! I ended up getting her outfit at Target tho -

Daycare is great! She was so busy looking at the other kids and checking out the new toys, she wasn't even looking at us! I chatted with the teachers, put away all her stuff, and we just left!
She didn't sleep great last night, so I'm just anxious whether they can get her to nap! But she'll be home by 2:30 so she can always take a long nap at home.
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@BandDmommy: Whether I do half the stuff I'm thinking in my head for this party is TBD... Haha!
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@snowjewelz: Glad daycare went well! I'm sure she had fun playing with other kids! E loves it, he wave bye to me as soon as I bring him in, like see ya mom!
Cute board and dress!
I've have so many cute ideas too, but we'll see what gets done! Doesn't help that its right around Thanksgiving and we'll be busy already with family events.

@josina: That's the best, when they're happy I know.. I feel like with Christmas looming in the background too, I can't spend so much $ on her birthday either. I'm currently helping to plan my friend's baby shower so I have done nothing for her birthday!
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@snowjewelz: All I've done is create a board on pinterest. So you're further ahead than I am!

@snowjewelz: so happy she is liking it! that is a big relief to know it is working out well! and the naps will come (eventually)
i took E to the ped last week for her (very late) 9 month check-up. i'm pretty sure she isn't close to walking yet, and am not worried at all since she is still young. the ped kept acting like i was concerned though...all "well, there's definitely a chance she could walk before 12mos" etc. it was weird. luckily he is not our regular ped -- hope we like the other one more than him though! i hate finding new docs.
pomelo / 5660 posts
@KayKay: That's weird. Why would you be worried about walking at 9 months? 15 months, maybe?
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@KayKay: That is weird that the doctor is the one saying that...
pear / 1961 posts
@winniebee: @banddmommy: @snowjewelz: yeah, it would've made since if i had said something like -- "oh, my older daughter walked at 10.5months, do you think E will?" but i didn't. whatever!
pear / 1961 posts
@snowjewelz: i actually just was thinking the other day that i didn't feel like i had to buy K nearly as much clothing and stuff. part of it was probably that she was first baby/first grandkid (both sides)...but i think the other part was that her bday is in April! so she was born and we got gifts. then xmas was at 8 months = more gifts. then her birthday in April = more gifts. it was much more spread out and her presents hit the different seasons for clothing
pomegranate / 3973 posts
@winniebee: Poor baby and mama with the frequent poopy diapers! Hopefully he's feeling better soon!
Brave boy standing on his own! E usually does it now if he's not paying attention, like if he grabs something off the couch and doesn't realize he's standing/not holding on.
@KayKay: Odd. Have you met your 'regular' ped yet? I didn't like our first ped either, she was just 'goofy'/flighty, so we switched dr's right away. Hopefully you find one you like.
pear / 1961 posts
@josina: i haven't actually met the regular ped, but she came on a recommendation from a friend. so we'll see! if not, i have a couple other recommendations and may just switch again. i also am probably super-picky because we LOVED the first ped we had for K...even though we just lucked into her (combo of recommendation for the practice and just happened to get her at our first appt)
wonderful kiwi / 23653 posts
@KayKay: haha, that's a perfect gap for the gifts to keep coming!

you guys... i had an emotional breakdown last night. haha- micah had been sttn but for some reason the last few weeks he has been waking up every two hours! he refuses to go back to sleep if dh goes to comfort him. i don't know what else to do!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@whenoceansrise: Ughhhh, I'm sorry!!! Going from getting sleep to suddenly not is soooooooo hard. Hugs to you. I wish I had some advice.

@Adira: thank you! i keep telling myself to appreciate it because one day too soon he won't love me this much!
