@BandDmommy: ughhh DC traffic sounds brutal!
Thankfully we are super close to everything jobs, town, etc and traffic is at worst 30 mins!
DH wakes at 5 to be out the door at 6 he does all of G's meals and packs her bag in the a.m.
On days he is off he takes her and picks her up so we have a pretty good schedule!

@FaithFertility: that's nice! My hubby wakes up at 530/6 and does absolutely nothing for the kids before leaving the house at 6/630. It's a scramble to get out the door for school so I now have the nanny come at 7:30 on school days so I can be out the door at 8.

@FaithFertility: It's cause she took 2 half hour naps and the last one ended at 2, and then she didn't nap at all at home and b/c we ate dinner first I didn't put her to bed till 7! I told the teacher to try not to let her nap twice, so she can go home to take her 2nd nap.

The only time DH wakes before 6 is for fishing, lol.
DH is usually up around 6:30, I get up (reluctantly) when K wakes up so usually around 7 (but technically earlier than that since she needs help staying asleep in the morning).

@winniebee: Yes, I am very thankful he helps! Can't say on the days he is off all day with no wife or kiddo 2 days a week he gets as much done as I would but.....he definitely tries!

@FaithFertility: wow, that's nice. My husband just gets out of the house without trying to wake the kids.

@whenoceansrise: sorry about the sleep. H has been doing the same thing (up every 2-3 hrs, dad can't comfort him), although he never slept through the night, so maybe it's easier for me? ha, I'm just used to no sleep. I hope his sleep gets better again soon!!
@snowjewelz: so glad daycare went well! At least she took her milk, and it's good she got a little sleep Must have been so much fun for her with the other kids!!
@whenoceansrise: oh my gosh - so cute!! Love that as a theme.
@winniebee: sorry you all have colds no fun.
@FaithFertility: ahh that sucks!! Haha. Ugh I'm sorry. Glad she went back to sleep though.
@winniebee: ha, I'm not sure we will even have a party Does that make me a bad mom? haha.
@BandDmommy: DC traffic is no fun! thankfully, my husband can take the metro in, but even that has been bad lately.

@MrsF: D's birthday is 11/14. I can't believe its a little over a month away!

I'm just watching all the birthday party planning. We aren't doing a party. Just a small at home cake with immediate family of us 4, plus a few more from my family that will travel.

@MamaG: Some times those are the best kind Ours will be casual and just family, but extended family as well.

@mrsf: @winnibee: E is 11/22, and we have neither date nor any sort of plans. i need to find out if any family is planning to come or not, and they will all be here next weekend for her baptism, so i'm putting it off! i have a feeling that since thanksgiving is the week after, no one will be in town for both. we'll see! we may just end up having a couple local friends and their kids over casually.

We have teeth!!!! Both bottom ones are just poking through!!!!

@KayKay: Yeah - the Thanksgiving thing is tough A casual party is right up my alley though!

@MamaG: oh good - I thought I was the only one I don't think we are doing a party either. We will probably just end up doing a cake with immediate family.

@FaithFertility: yahoo! We have a tooth and a poke of a tooth on the bottom. Slowest teeth we everrrr!

@FaithFertility: nice! H has one bottom and one top tooth (not all the way in yet). his other top tooth is just starting to poke through. Can't tell if the other bottom tooth is close?

Ugh, we're having a rough night. Third wake up already and he's only consoled btw nursing, and even that isn't a sure thing.
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@BandDmommy: Thankfully after the 11:00 p.m. feeding, he slept the rest of the night. But 5 hours is definitely not enough sleep for me!
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@MrsF: Thanks! Although I shouldn't complain - Logan's mostly been an awesome sleeper and it was just one rough night, whereas a bunch of you ladies have dealt with months and months of crappy sleep!
eggplant / 11861 posts
@Adira: agree as G is a good sleeper, but it does hit you like a ton of bricks, when you have a bad night
eggplant / 11861 posts
@Adira: I hear my time will come as EVERYONE warns me when we have #2 since G is so good.....lol
wonderful pomelo / 30692 posts
@FaithFertility: Not necessarily! Xander was a good baby too and a good sleeper. Logan's even easier!! I'm going to be in for a world of unpleasantness when they are both toddlers (or teenagers) I think!

@Adira: sounds good to me
Well all babes are different that is my motto and who knows you might have angel boys

@FaithFertility: both of my kids are great sleepers. D has been way better but B was also a preemie. B started STTN at about 4 months. D started STTN at 2 months.

@FaithFertility: That sucks.
I'm worried about the holidays as DH works road maintenance now for the county, and snow day means he's plowing snow regardless of the day/time.
