and my birthday is halloween so there were always lots of people looking to have fun

I did. I went out to a bar with some friends. But I was home by like midnight and not drunk. I had class at 7:50 the next morning and it was my first year of law school and my prof was already on my ass because I'd been seriously ill earlier in the month and missed a few classes. So I really needed to be there and not hung over.

I don't remember! Maybe at dinner. I was planning to go out after dinner but it was in the middle of finals so I passed out and never made it to the bar. Oops!

No, I had a terrible cold and just went to bed early. But that was during my study abroad year in Paris, so I had been drinking long before my birthday.
I remember it being the strangest feeling buying bottles of wine without having to be worried about being carded. The very first time I remember panicking at the checkout because I didn't have ID on me, and then remembering a few seconds later that I didn't need it!

Yep! My friends threw me a surprise party! I only remember the first half of that night.

Yes, I did! My friends and I went to Vegas for three nights and had a blast!

Ugh, god yes.
I was home on the Navy base for the Summer. My brother took me out to the "all hands" bar and every military guy who thought he was so clever bought me a Sex on the Beach. I don't know how many I had. And I probably shouldn't have followed it up later with a bottle of Miller Lite.
I remember it so clearly. Coming home and getting in bed thinking, "I'm totally fine!" Then getting the spins. Then running to the bathroom and throwing up hot pink. Fun times.

Haha, when I was in college, we had IDs, I was going to bars when I was a freshman, so by the time I was 21, it wasn't even fun anymore because the bars were loaded up with all the rookies that had never gone to a bar before that.
My birthday was in the summer and I happened to be living in Boston that summer, so yes, we went out.

Nah, I'd been drinking with the family since I was 12, so the novelty had worn off
And I can't stand the smell of most drinks, they remind me too much of alcohol swabs... it's kind of pathetic when I'm out with friends and everyone's drinking and I'm pretending to sip something, but I can't do anything about it.

Legal age here is 19, and yes, I had LOTS to drink on my 19th birthday

I turned 21 on a Sunday over Christmas Break; I had a glass of wine at my Grandmother's house to humor my mother.

Yes! My husband and I (then fiance/boyfriend, don't remember) were on the other side of the country for an event so the two of us went exploring on this swanky beach town. We bar hopped to 3 or 4 different places and by the end of the night, I was barfing in the ocean!!! I got WAY too drunk. I was disappointed, though, because I didn't get carded once the whole time!
