Did you throw up at any point during your labor? I didn't realize this was a normal part of labor - no one told me that!! I was walking from the bathroom to the bed in my delivery room and told the nurse I was going to throw up. I've never seen a nurse move so fast in her life. She caught it with a bed pan and had a towel for me almost immediately.

I threw up a little liquid. I drank water in the 18 hours leading up to surgery. The worse part was the reflux sensation.

Yes. Lots and lots. I had an assembly line of barf buckets for a while. The nurse said it was helping move him down, anyway!
The second time just once, when my spinal was taking effect. My BP tanked, and it made me sick. It was terrible because I was already numb and on my back, and my stomach was empty because it was a planned C-section. Well empty except for the shot of whatever the nurse gave me during prep...tasted like very salty, very sour grapes, and was supposed to protect my esophagus in case I got sick, since I had been fasting. I threw that back up.

With DD2 - yes. Labour was so fast and painful I think my body was just overwhelmed

I only did once with DD1 after trying gas and air whilst waiting in triage for a delivery room. It was only once though and immediately after the gas and air, so I attribute it fully to that. Didn't throw up with DD2 at all.

No with my second - I got really nauseous so the nurse put Zofran in my IV before I got sick. Miracle!

No, didn't feel nauseous at all. I always wondered if this was something that happens more if you are going med free or not. No one I know has ever thrown up (and they've all had the epidural!)

So many times. That is how I knew I was in active labor. I threw up at home and at the hospital. It was a Med-free birth.

Yes, I threw up a few times before I got the epidural. Then immediately after he came out, I threw up all over the nurse standing next to me. She had handed me a tiny container but I vomited with so much force it splattered out all over her.

LO1- about 15 min after she was born. I was holding the baby and I looked at my husband and said take the baby. He looked at me blankly and I repeated it and he just stood there looking at me. I repeated it again and my sister jumped around him and took the baby just as I puked all over myself and the bed.
LO2 - no puking thank goodness because I was eating lunch when my water broke and he was born 4 hrs later, so there was plenty to throw up.

With DS1 - yes! I went into labor naturally, and I threw up until I got my epidural.
With DS2 - no...he was a scheduled C since DS1 ended up in an emergency C. No throwing up!

A few times before I got an epi. Pitocin contractions with no epi are no joke, my friends!

Nope. I'm prone to feeling nauseous so I thought I would. Surprisingly I felt perfectly fine.

No, but came sooooo close! The heartburn and almost vomiting was terrible. I never throw up, so I worked very hard to keep it down, but man was that hard

I had a very fast, easy, unmedicated 5 Hour labor. I never felt nauseous at all but let me tell you, I had to poop! I did, too

With DS1 I didn't throw up at all - didn't even feel nauseous.
For DS2 I threw up soon after getting my epidural (the first one didn't work) and then I threw up after he was born and I scarfed down a turkey and bread sandwich. I was starving, but ate it way too quickly! Especially after not having eaten for 24+ hours.

Not during labor but after I had the baby in my arms. The nurse snatched her back so fast and I puked on DH.

Nope. Not even nauseous. And I even ate (small amounts) during labor. But I did poop!

No, but I was confined to bed for my induction/IV fluids. I was so nauseous I'm almost certain I would have vomited if I were allowed to move around.

Oh yea, lots. To begin with a McDonald's bfast sandwich not a good choice during early labor, threw that up in the parking lot 
Then started puking again late that night which is what made us head for hospital. The heartburn was so terrible despite them giving me meds in my Iv and then an oral drug as well (threw that up too). And then continued to puke the night after I had her, to the point that I couldn't sit up to nurse her and I had the nurses trying to teach me, a FTM, how to nurse a few hours old baby side-lying

Yes, my dr let me eat about 15 hrs into my induction and I threw that all up while trying to get an epidural (maybe that's why my epi didn't work?!?!). I also threw up when they were using the vacuum to get DD out and right before they started the c section for DS. There really wasn't much in my stomach by that point.

I threw up right after my c-section was over. They told me it was pretty normal because of the sudden drop in hormones. I'm going to ask if I can have some preventative zofran this time.

No with my second (a 30 min early labour and 10 min active labour).

Yep. I knew it was coming though. Off and on all three days with DS. During transition with DD.

I threw up with every contraction for hours! It was mostly liquid because I had nothing in my stomach. It was the worse.
