My mom was visiting me with my aunt in New York, and I decided to do a 3d ultrasound ~30 weeks so she could see one. It was the best decision ever. They'd both never seen an ultrasound in their lives, and Charlie was super active. They were mesmerized!
Did your parents come to any of your ultrasounds?

No, they didn't. I showed my grandma the ultrasound pic though (only pics she saw of DD, since my grandma passed away before DD was born). She thought it was awesome and her roommate at the care facility had never seen such a thing. Such a special memory!

We invited my mom and MIL to our anatomy scan. They were absolutely thrilled to be there. I'm so glad we included them. My mom also came to an additional ultrasound with me when DH couldn't be there.

Yes, my mom took me to my 16 week appointment. She too was amazed by the ultrasound technology!

Yep, my final overdue ultrasounds x2 or 4 because I couldn't really drive myself at that point and my husband couldn't come. I took a friend with me to a 24 week one because my husband couldn't come and it was nice to share it with her.

My Inlaws took DH and I to a recreational ultrasound with DD2 so we could find out that she was a girl when we were visiting them.

My mom wanted to, but it kind of weirded me out. Then ultrasounds became hugely stressful, not fun, so I really didn't want anyone else there but DH.

My dad came with me to one at 24 weeks because my husband was out of town. DD had been so balled up at our anatomy scan so they hadn't gotten good images of her heart. We went back at 24 weeks and I wanted someone with me in case something was wrong. My dad was a riot!

Yes, my mom and dad came to the gender reveal scan. It was cool - they had never seen modern ultrasounds and the tech spent so much time with us, going over each part of LO and answering all their questions. It was a good bonding experience

No- I show them the pictures but I like to do all the medical stuff with just my husband. I don't want them in Labor and Delivery either.

Yes. DH and I surprised our moms and took them to an elective scan. We all found out the sex of DD together.

No. We haven't had good luck with pregnancies and we generally find out our bad news during ultrasounds. I wouldn't want anyone except DH to go with me.

My mom came to one of them with my first. They printed a photo and the baby looked GHOULISH! It was a horrible 3D photo and he honestly looked like Chuckie. HAHA!

My MIL came to the anatomy scan for #1 and my mom came to a random one for #2 (I got one monthly, and it was one of the later ones).

Yes, I was in a car accident with my dad at 18 weeks so he was with me at the hospital when I got checked out, it was so special because he is never "in" on things like that. He was mesmerized.
My mom came with me for one for DD2 because I had a cyst and DH couldn't get off work and I was nervous, she was super excited to see her.
