I read somewhere, I think alphamom, that it's important to stop using bottles after one year. My LO only gets bottles while I'm at work, other times we breastfeed. I was kind of dreading the transition because I know he really likes getting a bottle at naptime. He's pretty much down to one bottle before and one bottle after nap, the rest of the day he eats food.
I was waiting for my pediatrician to mention it, but she never did, and we just went for his first dentist visit, and he never mentioned it either. So now I wonder if it's really necessary to ditch the bottles or if we can keep using them. We don't let him sleep with the bottle, which I know is bad. Does anyone know?
