i used to, all of my cars have had names- lola, ruby, sven, birk... but not this car. i resent this car. birk needed to be replaced before he was paid off & it was a PITA, i didn't want to get rid of him and i had to settle for this gold car because it had everything else i wanted. i HATE gold cars and it gets far worse gas milage than i was led to believe. i refuse to put presets in the radio or program the seat memories because i refuse to get that close to it maybe i'll love my next car

I don't, but DH does. He had his first truck for 10 years and was very attached to it. He finally (reluctantly) bought a new truck, after everyone was hounding him to upgrade,
but it was a complete lemon (broke down A LOT) so he was very regretful that he let himself "doubt" the ol' truck. He sold the new one, went back to ol' faithful (he had kept it) and it took him another 4 years to buy a new truck. He finally parted ways with the old truck a couple years ago. He's getting pretty attached to this new one, now, but as he says, no can replace the first. ...eyeroll. Lol.

I probably wouldn't cry about a previous vehicle, but I do really miss my last truck, to the point that I get pretty sad about it. But, that truck was with me through a LOT, so I don't if it's the memories or the actual truck?

Yep - I BAWLED the last time I had to trade in my car. It was a civic with over 200,000 miles on it that I had bought new, and I just kept thinking, "but it was there for me long before my husband!" I thought the dealer was going to laugh and call me crazy, but he said it happens all the time!

Yes!!! DH crashed my very first car ever about 8 months after we got married. It still had a ton of life in it and I cried when he totaled it. I was mad at him for a very long time.

I do, but I get attached to everything.

I loved my last car, but I don't think I was very sad when we sold it.
