@Mama Bird: @birdofafeather: They're my favorite too! I've asked for the matching serving dishes and bread plates for gifts but haven't got anything yet...maybe Christmas.

We use Lenox Tin Can Alley as regular dishes.
I have a handful of "fancy" china dishes, but none of them match because I bought them as single pieces on clearance whenever I saw a piece I liked. They all have some silver on them, though, so the table looks festively mismatched. I use them once and a while just for kicks and on holidays. I dig dishes.
On the stemware front, I have an embarrassing number of glasses, particularly champagne flutes. Something like half of the gifts from our wedding were champagne flutes! (The other half were mostly wine glasses. Apparently we were popularly viewed as drunks or exceptionally clumsy?) Anyhow, we only drink champagne or sparkling wine about once a year, but I like using all my stuff so I use them for sparkling water or juice and feel all fancy. (Thanks, wedding guests!)

Nope, I just have handmedown dishes we use everyday. We never have occasions here for fancy dishes though, and at Thanksgiving dinner at my mom's house she always supplies disposable plates so it was never something I did growing up either.

We have Crate and Barrel Roulette. No china. I dress the white plates up with colored smaller dishes.

I have these from Longaberger that we use everyday in eggplant, cornflower, and butternut. Sadly the butternut has been discontinued and that's the color that has the most broken. I'm king of irritated with Longaberger because when I sold it we were trained to talk about how sturdy it is, I've broken about 8 pieces (C broke a serving dish last night ) and they won't replace my pieces. So I have service for 8 plus glasses and mugs with multiple broken plates, bowls, and mugs. Sad. I think I'll go looking for some melamine.

We have Sophie Conran and I them.... Basic and sturdy enough for every day, but we can use them when people come over

@lawbee11: dish twinsies! I love using bowls, so I also have C+B pasta bowls with the wide brim, and the ice cream/ cereal size bowls.
I chose white because it goes with everything and I can dress up the table with colored or patterned napkin and placemats, and chargers.
ETA: @Smurfette: triplets lol

We have a mashup of ikea dishes from before we were married. Someday I would like to have a matching set, but they don't have to be fancy or china.

We got a large set of Lenox Butler's Pantry "casual china" for our wedding, and we use those as our everyday dishes. We also used them when we hosted Thanksgiving last year. It was just a few months after the wedding, and I was excited to use my new dishes.
I do have a set of formal china that I got for my first wedding, but now that I'm remarried it feels weird to use them. I do have them on display in a china cabinet, but I'd probably use our new dishes if we were hosting again this year.
