We don't but we need to start. DH just texted me about a poop explosion for our previously constipated 9 month old!

Yes, in the diaper bag. For the baby always an outfit or jammies or something for an emergency, and for my potty-trained son, undies and an extra pair of pants. (Although I have also needed socks and shoes on a couple occasions, so maybe I should add those too!!)

Yeah, nappy bag! It's too dangerous to leave them in the car, it tempts fate!

I always have one in the diaper bag. We haven't needed it yet, but just in case!

Yep, I usually have a onesie/top and a pair of pants for that situation.

I also learned (the hard way) to keep a shirt for myself in the diaper bag. eww!

I used to keep an outfit and a shirt for me in the diaper bag, but stopped not long after her first birthday.

Yes, usually 2 complete outfits including vest for LO. I used to carry around a spare t-shirt for me when LO was more spitty-uppy.

We kept one in the diaper bag until her first birthday but haven't since.

I always keep a spare outfit for him in the diaper bag. Carseat + poop always equals disaster when we're out.

After 12 months I started carrying a smaller diaper bag but I keep a "disaster bag" (gallon zip lock with spare clothes, extra diaper, wipes, band aids, extra zip-lock bags, etc) in the car.

No. I've only had to use it once in almost 4 years so I stopped.

@MrsF: i do the same thing! I have a plastic tub in the car with essentials - couple diapers, wipes, hand sanitizer, change of clothes, bottle of water, and snacks/fruit pouches. Saved my life more than a few times!

Yep, usually 1-2 extra full outfits in the bag. I need to stuff one into my glove compartment as well (I keep spare diapers in there).

Always, we used to keep 5-6 whens he was having her issues. Now we only keep 1-2.

i've heard moms that keep an extra shirt for themselves in the bag, too!

I have an extra outfit in the diaper bag. I used to carry a shirt for myself but it was taking up too much space

Yup! Its usually just a pair of warm footsie PJs for the 'winter' or a dress when it's warm out. That way, it doesn't take up too much room. I also keep an extra shirt for myself in the car.

Absolutely. If I didn't have one she would absolutely have an explosion, better safe than sorry. Also today I learned why moms keep a shirt for them too, on my drop off at her care ladies house this morning I got poop all over the sleeve of my sweater. Mom fail for sure.

Not unless I know we're going somewhere she might get dirty (the water room at the children's museum, painting class). And always when we're riding on a plane because my LO never has blowouts EXCEPT for the first 30 minutes of a flight. This has happened 3 times.
