I asked my sister and SIL if they knew their SO's SS number and they all said yes and that the guys did not know theirs. I'm not sure why the guys in our family don't care to remember this info.

I have to look it up every time I need it! I can only remember the first 3 digits.... But I sure know my own!

I have had it at some points and he has mine, but neither of us have it memorized. I also have no idea what C's is, though I know where all our cards are.

I know his because it's our insurance number (Tri-Care). I know he doesn't know mine.

I don't know his, but he knows mine. Mostly because he is the one who did all the legwork for the houses we have bought and he did all the paperwork including mine!

I never took the time to memorize it because I work where our bank accounts are held so I can look it up at work whenever I need it. Ha! He probably knows my last 4. He's certainly had it at different points in time but I doubt he's memorized the whole thing. I can't really see a scenario where he needs it immediately and can't get a hold of me.

I have just memorized it after 5 years because it's now an ID number for our family insurance.

Neither of us has memorized the other's SSN. But we both know where our SSN cards are kept, so we can get the number if we need it.

I know mine and DH's. He knows his but not mine. I'm really good at memorizing and he never deals with anything that requires my SSN anyway.

Neither of us knows the other's, or LO's. I was thinking today that I really ought to learn it. But the cards are all in our safe, so I can always look it up.

I can only ever remember the first three digits of DH's. I'm thinking it'll take filing our taxes two more times for me to have it memorized.
I've told him mine in the past, but I'm certain he doesn't know it by heart.

I know his, he knows the last 4 of mine. Neither of us have E's memorized yet.
Once I was on the phone with my insurance co and she was impressed that I could rattle off D's SSN without thinking but then laughed at me because I had to sit and think about his birthday (I always think it's one day earlier then it is).

I know his. I'm a numbers person. Our kids are on his insurance and so I need it often enough. It's easier to remember than the memberID.

I don't know DH's SS and he doesn't know mine. It's not a secret between us, we just haven't memorized it. It's been a problem a few times and I've had to call to get his number. He's super sensitive about security though so he gives it to me in code like the first three could be something like the number of dogs we own, the years we have been married, then the number of tvs we have. Stuff like that.

We do not have each other's SS number memorized. I rarely ever need to use it, and I never took the time to memorize it, although I do know my own.

Yes, we both know eachother's, but it took about 10 years. We don't know the boys' though.

No. But he knows DD's. I had to call him for her number since she wanted to stay at the daycare in Ikea. What's really bad is it's only 4 digits where we live!

I know his SSN because it's really easy to remember. He doesn't know mine and asks every time he needs it for paperwork.

I always end up forgetting DH's - it's one of only things I haven't memorized! That said, I'm sure DH has no idea what mine is. He confessed to me recently that he had to spell out my first name to someone, and he had to "double check" on the spelling first. ....!!!!! just speechless....

I always accidentally give his instead of mine because I'm always mixing them up! He doesn't even memorize phone numbers (including mine) so no, He doesn't know my SSN.

Wow, I am surprised so many people now their SO's ssn! I have no idea what his is and he doesn't know mine. Not a secret, but it just doesn't come up that often. Like @Woolly Mammoth I feel like in the age of cell phones, I am just glad we know each other's phone numbers by heart. Even that took a while, LOL.
