I'm in the process of planning a bachelorette party and got into a debate with my SIL about booking hotel rooms. I always put the correct number of people per room when booking because I don't even think about doing it another way. But she said that she always puts a smaller number because it's cheaper. But I'm all "I can't lie." It is $40 cheaper a night to put 2 instead of 4, but I can't do it. She swears everyone does it, though, so I'm asking the hive.
Do you ever lie about how many people per room to get a cheaper rate? Do hotels even care?
