I like them!

If you're already kind of convincing yourself they are "ok/good enough" I wouldn't buy them. Wait for the pair you want. My closet is so much more streamlined now that I only buy pieces I really love. You will be unsure about the zipper detail every time you put them on. I find it so much easier to get ready when I love almost everything I have in my closet.

@Reese: @Littlebit7: yes this. If you already have doubts you'll always have them and never feel confident when you wear them. I have some things like that and I never wear or when I do I feel really self conscious.
I vote move on and look for a great traditional, classic staple. What is your max budget?

@mrs.kiwi: I guess to answer your original question, I do think they are maybe a bit too young/trendy if what you're going for is more classic and mature. (Not mature like old lady but mature like 30-something).
Have you looked at 6pm? They have a lot of great stuff. It's the Zappos discount site.

If you don't like them, don't buy them. Even if i's a good deal. However, lol at "pushing 30" being too old to wear the boots. I'd wear them, and I'm pushing 40.

I don't love them but if you like them and they're comfortable and they cost $35 I would buy them to fill a need in the short term, and then find ones you really love for your "I'll wear these until they have holes in them" pair. I definitely don't think they're too young or trendy, they're just too busy for my taste with the buckles and the zippers and the creases.

they look too old fashioned to my mind. but in a bad sense, you know. sorry but trying to be honest. hopefully, youll find a better one!
