Yes, we really want to move back to North Carolina, but DH is having trouble finding a job there.

Sometimes I wish we lived closer to my family in Toronto but then I snap back to reality and I'm glad I don't have to contend with daily family drama and the weather.

I also sometimes wish we lived in California but I don't think we would enjoy the faster pace and more competitive nature there. I guess I do regret not moving there for a year or two pre-kids though. Would have been great career wise.

My brother and his family moved back to my hometown last year and I'm pretty jealous, I'd love to live there!

Yes! We want to move north. We talk about Vermont. I'd love a little town where it has the population sign when you enter. Downside is our family lives here and I've never lived more than 15/20 minutes from my mum.

I wouldn't mind living somewhere with actual seasons! It's still 90 degrees here in California. The leaves don't change color in fall...they just die.

I'd love to move back to my husband's home country (and the place that we met). It's a long-term goal. Maybe in 10 years or so.

We just moved back to New York (where I'm from/he's from New Jersey) from the Deep South. We are both so so happy to be back home. We didn't love where we were - it was too far from family and we don't like the weather/lack of actual seasons.

Yes, anywhere but FL. I am so over the heat. I want seasons again.

No, I love the PNW. I love the weather, I love how beautiful it is and how close we are to the water, our close proximity to family, etc. etc.

If money/work/family weren't factors, I would love to live somewhere warm. DH wants to move to Texas (where he was raised) but I told him not unless my folks become wealthy. Deep down I think it would crush me to be that far away.

Yup. We are tired of Southern California for many reasons. Including the "perfect weather". We are in the process of making the leap and moving to Colorado.

Yes, we just moved back to our home state and are here for the long haul. If place were the only factor I think it doesn't get better than NYC, but I love that we're back among lifelong friends and my LO is growing up with his cousins. I'd gladly summer in the northeast if I won the lottery though!

I love where we're at right now - I've known since I first moved to London as a backpacker in my 20s that I would love to settle down in England, and here we are. An hour away from London, which gives us easy access for day trips, but far enough out where we can afford a proper house and enjoy a village community.

Now if I could just convince all of my family to move to England as well, we'd be set!

WA state has no state income tax. Your earnings immediately go farther. Seattle home prices are totally reasonable compared to California. You'll be trading sun for 9 months of cloudy/drizzly weather though. A lot of transplants have trouble with that.

Yes we are looking forward to moving as soon as we can. The cost of living here is insane and I am dreading the winter. I really dislike the cold.
