Hi friends! I'm about to give birth to our second son and I'm washing newborn clothes. I have some nice outfits that have Breast milk spit up stains and trying to find solution to get the stains out. Anybody got the magic trick??????

We use Oxyclean Max spray. It gets out a lot of tough stuff!

Soak in oxy clean powder for a few hours. I got a lot of clothes from my sil and it seems formula spit up stained the necks yellow even more than breastmilk, but soaking overnight got almost everything out. Didn't even have to treat any specific stains.

Soak in OxiClean. I used the OxiClean Baby for the first 8 months or so, but it's harder to find.

I put oxy in a bowl with hot water and soak overnight.

Be careful soaking in oxy clean for too long, I had some clothes get holes and discolored from it.

Try sitting it out in the sun. That worked for my cloth diapers.

@mommygrace: I can't remember- I just followed the directions. I didn't get the baby one, just the regular one, but I always soak then wash in the free and clear detergent. I think with the newborn stuff i probably washed it twice after but that's probably not necessary.

I use baby oxiclean spray or the sun for extra tough stains!

I use the oxyclean spray, but for me the secret was getting a nail brush to scrub it in before laundering.
