If so and you have LO(s), don't you feel guilty that family will be buying your kids all these gifts and shouldn't you do something in return to thank them?

Our family has done this off and on in the past few years and as the gift giver, I've never had any issues with not getting a gift (nor do I expect one.) But I wonder if it's different from the parent point of view. When I have kids, will that guilt be something to just get used to? Though, I'm sure I'll be buying gifts for my nephews and my siblings will be buying for my kids, so maybe it all evens out and not really an issue.
