If not, do you wish they did?
I have been trying to stir up a bromance for my husband for a decade 
. He has long distance friends and work/ happy hour friends but not anybody he could hang out with on a regular basis.
Seriously, I feel like it would be helpful to both of us if he had someone else to share his hobbies with.

Who knows, maybe I would be jealous if he had a great friend I had to share him with, but from where I sit now I would LOVE for him to go hang out with a buddy.

Yup. They have been best friends since high school. We were in each other's weddings, vacation with him and his wife, have playdates with their daughter, and I "tolerate" the constant texting back and forth. He's actually here right now (his wife had a meeting and will be coming later), and I'm bored with all the fantasy football talk! So playing with the kiddies and on HB instead, haha.

My husband basically has a best friend in a co-worker. They work together and then play video games together and chat at night when they do.
He is also close to our BIL and his little brother

@lizzywiz: my husband has a close group of guy friends, but we moved away 2 years ago. They are surprisingly good at keeping in touch, though--better than I am with my girl friends in our old city!
He's actually on a 4 day hiking trip with them in Colorado right now. And they have another trip all together this next May.
In our current city, he has coworker friendships and one that has also extended to a biking friendship. But I'm kinda glad he doesn't have more than that, because I feel like I need him home more often since he already works long hours and doesn't see LO as much as he'd like--so weekends are daddy/LO time.

Yes, he has two really good friends from college. He makes friends pretty easily and has strong guy friendships he's developed in the last a couple years that stemmed from work.
One of his best buddies and him are planning a trip to Atlanta to see Outkast's final concert together. There's another guy or two going as well. I think it's sweet what they consider male bonding.

@lizzywiz: Honestly, DH has a lot of bromances so it seems like he's always texting, emailing, and even talking on the phone! I don't get irritated by the physical time with any of his guys because it's not too frequent (and usually LO and I are there to hang out with the wives and other kids), but I do get irritated with the time he spends on the phone around me, and I've had to put some limits down.

My husband has a best friend from childhood, but they don't see each other much anymore. But he's got a ton of close friends and hangs out with the guys regularly. I think the fact that he's a big sportsman and golfer means he's doing group activities constantly. He makes friends easily because of it.

Yep BFFs since hs. They're two peas in a pod and since we all stayed near our hometown they see each other often.

Yeah, we live in the same area my DH went to college so he has all his college buddies he has known for 10+ years then he is friends with all my best friends husbands.

Two of them, one who he sees fortnightly who lives about 29 mins away by car. The second lives a 2 hour car journey away and DH will go stay for the weekend with him once every 3 months or so. I think it's great for our relationship for him to go stay away for a weekend 4 times a year.

@lizzywiz: No not at all. My DH is an introvert by nature so he rarely does anything outside of work and stuff with us so I think its great when he makes friends. His brothers (BIL) are much more outgoing so they can get drag him and get him to do more than I can at times. I like his co-worker and we have double dated a few times with him and his girlfriend
At one point to bond more with my husband and his friend I started to play a game with them at night. I chat with his co-worker on the chat at times too and sometimes with my husband when they both are at work

Ya'll are just confirming my suspicion that a bromance for my SO would be nothing but great. Thing is, I think he is happy with the way things (he is such a homebody) but sometimes it is hard for me to fill that role. Or maybe I should say exhausting. It was easier before baby but now sometimes I am stretched too thin to want to watch youtube videos of gun tricks, ya know?

My husband has two very close best friends. One is stationed in SC and the other lives in Tallahassee which isn't too far. They've been best friends for years, one of them he's known basically his whole life. They don't talk every single day but when they do it's for a while and they hang out a couple of times a year.

Yes he does, they go golfing all the time, and his friend and his wife just got a puppy, so we've been having tons of doggy play dates with them!
