Hellobee Boards

I live in the west coast and just drove from PDX to SFO this fall. I really want to go back to Palm Springs. I love San Francisco. Disney is just south of there. San Diego is great with kids. I also love Honolulu and go almost yearly. Las Vegas is amazing. We are headed back to Nashville this fall. I'd like to spend more time in Texas. New Orleans is an all time favorite.

I am an east coaster. My suggestions would be (from north to south)
upstate NY during the Fall (prime leaf peeping season),
The Breakers mansion in RI,
NYC,
Philly for the history and cheese steaks,
Baltimore, MD inner harbor and aquarium,
Chincoteague Island for the swimming wild ponies,
Myrtle Beach, SC because it's hilariously touristy in the summer,
Savannah, GA (and pop out to Tybee Island).

We are currently in New Orleans for the first time and can't believe we waited so long (late 30s) to come here! History, architecture and food are out of this world.

Also love Palm Springs. Went in October and just went again 2 weeks ago (so late April) and both were fantastic weather. I think maybe I liked October better.

Also did Outer Banks several times with my family and really loved that every time! We plan on trying to get everyone together there now that my siblings and I have LOs.

Charleston, SC is next on my list! But prob just with DH.

Summer in Lake Tahoe/Truckee. Beautiful, lots for everyone to do, fresh air, amazing.

My husband and I loved Cape Cod Mass and up through to Maine. We did a road trip last summer through coastal Maine and it was awesome. I have also really enjoyed past trips to the national parks in the Nevada/Utah/Arizona area (Grand Canyon Bryce, Zion). We did a really quick trip to Savannah this past winter and had a great time, even though we were only there for a dayish.
I guess it depends on what you want out of a trip.

Last summer we did a 5 week trip from San Diego to Northern Washington. There are so many places we loved: San Diego, Monterey, Astoria OR, Seattle, Redwood National Forest, San Francisco.
We live in Utah so I would also have to recommend so many of the national parks here: Bryce , Canyonlands, Arches, etc. Antelope Canyons are also amazing!

I'm big on the northeast!

Boston - my DH loves the Red Sox and we've been a few different times. The North End is a must for authentic Italian food.

Philly - We live outside of Philly, but I'm still pretty amazed by it's history and the new things I can explore there.

I've also recently been out west for a few business trips.

Seattle is great if you're a huge fan of coffee and outdoor adventure. Lots of great stuff to do and see there.

San Francisco - beautiful city to walk even though the hills are killer!

I haven't traveled very extensively in the US and I tend to like big cities, NYC, Miami, SF. For more nature-y vacations I liked Montana (near Flathead lake) and I went camping two summers in a row on Lake Michigan and have some nice memories from that.

Maine coast and key west!
