@Thehistoryofus: @milkteaandpolkadots: The Going To Bed Book was sent to me by a friend who said her 10 year old daughter demanded she send it to me when she saw she was buying Moo Boo La La. I guess her daughter liked it and remembered it.

LO also loves books that have different textures to feel. And she has a photo album called "Who loves baby" that we put pictures of our family in, she loves that!

LO is almost 7 months and also loves the Boynton board books - she especially loves "Doggies" and laughs when we read it, probably because she's currently fascinated with our dogs. Other winners include "Madeline," "Olivia," "Goodnight Moon," "The Very Hungry Caterpillar," and "Eyes, Nose, Fingers and Toes." Really, anything relatively short with good pictures will hold her attention, particularly if it rhymes. Her first favorites (starting around a couple weeks old) were black and white books like "Hello Animals" and "Baby Animals, Black and White."

For a while LO liked "Baby Colors" and "Baby Giggles" just because they were full of pictures of babies. He's a big fan of Brown Bear/Panda Bear/Polar Bear, What Do You See/Hear. And anything interactive- animal books with "fur" to touch, Pat the Bunny, etc.
