Charlie has started struggling with both his afternoon nap and his nighttime sleep. We can still get him down, but it's getting tougher! I figured it's just a temporary phase... at least, I hope so!

@Andrea: wow she hasn't napped at all since she was 15 months?

@tina: most kids drop their last nap around 3, but i hope charlie takes one as long as possible!

@Mrs. Bee: she has not napped at home since 15 months. we have tried CIO, co-sleeping, rocking, turning on the TV in the hopes she'll maybe pass out, etc. none of it works. sometimes she will fall asleep if we are out and about in the car on the weekends. she refuses to even sit in a stroller so the stroller doesn't work. at daycare she doesn't nap since car rides aren't possible.

yup. i really really really dislike people who have 4 year olds that still nap!!

but she has slept 12-12.5 hours straight at night since 8 weeks so at least i still have that. i don't want to think about the day when she starts to fight bedtime.

My daughter is 3.5 and still naps for 2 - 2.5 hours at home. At daycare her naps are shorter 1-2 hours and does them 3 times a week the other 2 days are hit or miss.
