Please help me with ideas. My niece just turned 3 and her birthday party is this Saturday. Any good ideas about the $50 range?
I'm usually good about planning ahead and getting these things, but now that I'm occupied being a mom to a 6 mos old, I've let this one slip my mind.

Calico Critters! My DD loves playing with these at daycare. Instead of buying a family, get a playset since they come with furniture and 2 or 3 figures.

My LO just turned 3. Her favorite gifts were: Night gowns and those play-doh kits that have molds to shape it into different things. She also loves dress up clothes.

@Honeydew: I think it depends on your niece's personality? And maybe her parents too? hehe My niece was very into princesses around that age so I got her a princess dress up trunk. I think Disney makes one.
But personally if it was for my daughter I would love an assortment of other clothes besides just princesses.

My BFF's daughter just turned 3. We got her the Rody and she loves it. Twirly dresses, backpack, rolling luggage, and dress-up stuff have been recent hits with her too!
