PHYSICALLY: Not really? I would hug my dad when he got home from work, but it was more me hugging him than the other way around.

EMOTIONALLY: I didn't really hear "I love you" very often either. Maybe after a long trip away, or if I was sick or something.

OVERALL: Despite both of the above, I never doubted that my parents loved me! I don't know how I knew that they loved me, but I did feel loved growing up. I also think that "back in the day," the norm was that parents weren't all that physically or emotionally affectionate? So it was pretty common for hugs and kisses and "I love yous" to be infrequent!
