During pregnancy, my hair was luscious and beautiful - so shiny, healthy, thick, Pantene-ProV delicious. But now, 4 months post-partum, it's falling out in clumps.

I had super curly hair when I got pregnant. Now, my daughter is almost 2 years old and my hair is barely wavy.

Years ago a hair stylist told me that when I got pregnant my hair would become straight. I didn't believe him.

I've looked into why it would change, but all I've found is info on how you lose less hair while pregnant- and then lose a lot after you give birth. Nothing about it changing from curly to straight.

Mine stayed the same. I always heard that it was supposed to get thick and beautiful. My hair didn't get the memo

My mom had super thick and black hair (like me) and said she lost a ton after giving birth to me and then my brother (1.5 years later). It also turned brown (she's Korean). She said not to complain about my thick hair now because I'll be grateful for what I have left after pregnancy and that my hair will be a medium/dark brown that I'll never have to dye.
