Heartburn city over here for me! I'm 27 weeks today and if I don't take a Zantac in the morning I'll be miserable for the whole day. So my question is, did you have heartburn and if so did your baby have a head full of hair? It's really just for fun but I do expect to see a head full on little one seeing how DH is Italian. Three more months until we know for sure!!

I had awful, keep you up at night, almost made me throw up heartburn every single day with ds1. He was born with a tiny mohawk. Not a ton of hair, but it was definitely there.
He did grow an amazing amount of hair by 3 months and has had 15 haircuts by 2, however. Lol
Even more strange, both dh and I had full heads of thick hair. We were surprised DS didn't have more at birth.

Nash heartburn throughout the pregnancy and DD was bald til she was 1

Also Italian, also experienced brutal heartburn, and DD didn't have an overwhelming amount of hair, at birth.

I didn't vote, because I have two different answers. Both of my kids had full heads of black hair at birth. With the first I had heartburn my whole pregnancy to the point where I had to be on prescription strength meds - zantac, prevacid, Prilosec OTC didn't cut it. My second pregnancy, no heartburn until the last six weeks or so and I took Prevacid to manage.
My kids lose most of their hair by six months too. LO1 is nearly four and has hair all the way down her back with just three trims in her lifetime.

I need multiple votes! DS1 caused me tons of indigestion and heartburn and he barely had hair. I barely had heartburn with DS2 and he had tons of hair!

I had crazy heartburn with both of my girls and both were born with a lot of hair (but my first had more than the second).
I've had intense heartburn since 17 weeks with this one....I wonder if she will end up with a mop of hair!

I didn't have much heartburn at all with LO1 at all and she had a full head of hair. At 8 weeks, I have just a touch of heartburn with this pregnancy, so we will see.

Terrible heartburn, average-ish amount of hair. I still wouldn't call it a 'full head' at 17 months!

My heartburn was worse with DD and she had less hair than DS. She's still practically bald at 18 mo. Funny thing is the doc with MFM said, according to ultrasound, that she had a TON of hair! So I was expecting inch long hair like I had. Nope, barely anything.

I had some heartburn (not awful) and LO had some hair (more than I expected!)

I had some heartburn but it wasn't horrible and she had some hair.

I had horrible heartburn and LO was born with *tons* of hair! We could see tons of hair on the late-term ultrasounds and the techs asked me if I had bad heartburn

last time round I had terrible heartburn, and my kid came out with black thick hair. By the time we left the hospital I had managed to comb it and she looked like a tv news anchor

I had intense heartburn, both were born with a little hair, and my 3 year old hasn't even ever had a haircut yet because she's had so little hair. The heartburn thing didn't mean much for me!

No heartburn, tons of hair
Vacuum slipped off of his hairy head while I was giving birth

Heartburn in third tri, ds1 had a ton of hair but so did I and so did Dh, none of our hairs fell out either. Ds had his first haircut at 6 months and I've lost of how many he's had since, he's 2.5 now.
This time heartburn started way early and is so so bad at 32 weeks! I'll be surprised if we have a bald baby!

Had bad heartburn with both.., never had it before and both kids had a lot of hair!

Heartburn with both - DS had peach fuzz that didn't grow at all until he was 1, DD is looking like she is going down the same road - a little bit of fuzzy hair that has yet to grow at all at 6 months.

I had awful heartburn during the second and third trimesters of my last pregnancy, and my baby was completely bald! He didn't get any fuzz until about 6 months old! I didn't take him for his first haircut until he was 21 months old.

With my twins I had no heartburn and both were bald and took awhile to get hair. No haircut until they were past 2. With my daughter I had heartburn and she was bald too. She's now 2 1/2 and still doesn't have a full head of hair.

I had some heartburn but not too terrible. LO was born with a decent bit of dark hair!

I had heartburn horribly and dd had a ton of hair. I remember sitting in the hospital and realizing I didn't have heartburn anymore a few hours after I had her.

I actually read that this is true because when more estrogen is produced during pregnancy it causes heartburn and is also responsible for more hair growth!

Heartburn and lots of hair, but ALL babies born on my side are born with heads full of hair regardless. So, I don't think it was the heartburn for me

I had minor heartburn and my daughter came out with a little hair.

Are heartburn and reflux considered the same thing? If so, then yes, it was true for me. I had terrible reflux with both of my girls (I seriously lived on Tums for the last half of my pregnancy each time) and both girls had an incredible head of hair. I could have pulled DD1's hair up into a ponytail after birth had I wanted to, that's how much hair she had; DD2 had slightly less but still more hair than most babies have at a year.

I voted no heartburn and lots of hair.
I did have occasional heart burn but not a lot. So little I assumed I would have a bald baby, lol.

Thanks ladies! Sorry I didn't add a multiple vote option. This is our first and my brain isn't up to speed, haha!
