My LO is 2.5 and she always asks if a friend from daycare can come over to play. We have different pick up and drop off schedules so I think the last time I saw her friend's parents was at the Christmas program.
I guess I could leave a message in her friend's cubby....have you ever requested a play date with a note?

I haven't but I would consider it! She has two that she plays with a lot! According to DH one of the moms is pretty anti social and not friendly. But the other one is really nice!

Just when we left her day care. I want to email a parent in her current class and see if they want to have a play date sometime. But I am nervous for some reason.

DS talked about his friend all the time! So I finally left a note with my contact info and put it in his cubby!
She emailed me and we got the boys together!

I've left a note for another mommy with a teacher because we were trying to coordinate some presentations we were making for heritage day. Maybe you can ask the school for an email address, sometimes notes in folders or cubbies get lost..
