Yes! I don't go regularly but as a special treat probably twice per year. DH and I like to get them when we are on vacation.

Yes. It's covered by insurance. I opt for just upper body- I leave my leggings and socks on to stay extra cozy. It's no big deal- a LMTs job is to make you comfortable.

DH suuuucks at massages, so if I want one I need to go to a professional. My last massage was the week before my due date, and also my birthday. It was so amazing. I need to go again soon.

I have no qualms about being naked in front of a complete stranger if it's their job. I have had Brazilian waxing and lasering done, which is far more invasive. I actually requested my buttocks and hip be massaged during pregnancy because I was so sore there (so no underwear), and the masseuse was very professional, only uncovering one area/cheek at a time. I did not feel exposed at all.

I mostly just get them on vacation because the Carribbean ladies give the best massages. I am kinda meh about the ones around here, but I get them sometimes anyway.

I've been a few times. You should do it. It's not that awkward after you start to relax.

Definitely yes!!!! I choose massage over facial, pedicure, pretty much anything! DH is terrible at giving massages. He'll do it for a minute or two and complain that his hands hurt. Wimp!!! So yes I go as often as I can (with a 6 mo old, that means not as often as I'd like) but when I was pregnant I went every other week. It was magical!!!!!!! Our insurance covers soft tissue manipulation so I only had to pay out co insurance and tip. I definitely lived it up!!!

I've had three in the last two weeks But it was my birthday then we were on vacation. You seriously need to get one...don't be embarrassed! Especially after having a baby I give zero f*cks about letting it all hang out.

@Mrs.KMM: Yes! It's awesome! A lot of times you wind up with an instructor too, so it's just as good as a "real," expensive one. And the students are always very good, just not*quite* as good.

All the time. Do it! It's seriously relaxing. I was weirded out the first time, but they are total professionals and it's no weirder than going to the dentist and having someone's fingers in your mouth. Actually, now that I think of it, it's less weird than the dentist.
