@Corduroy: @Mrs.KMM: I had an awkward one in Bali. I've had dozens of massages, but never had someone massage my boobs before, either. That was fine (I guess), but afterwards she brought me to the glassed-in shower, turned it on, said to wash up, and then spent a long time cleaning the room. I dawdled, until I finally had to just get in the shower. It felt weird to me. I didn't know whether I should take off the mesh underwear or leave them on! I've used communal showers before at the gym and arena, but this felt different, cause I didn't know the protocol!

Between mine and DHs extended benefits, massages by RMTs cost us absolutely nothing, so YES! When I'm working and have childcare I usually go every couple weeks. They are super professional and I don't find it awkward in the least. Best thing ever!

Yep! My back and shoulders get jacked up so it really helps for that and the accompanying headaches if I'm super tense. I've gotten them from my chiropractor's office, from chains, and from vacation type places. A luxury that helps a ton!

Yes I try to get one once a month but it gets hard to schedule one in sometimes. I go to a sports clinic and they have the best therapists. I'm pretty meh about the ones at spas.

I used to think I would hate it and be weirded out, and then I had one, and now I love them. My insurance will cover them with a prescription (I just told my doctor my back hurt. She said why, I said "I'm pregnant and I have a 2 year old who wants me to carry him all the time" and she said "Fair enough" and wrote me one). In fact, I'm going to go book one right now!

Yes! They're incredible!! I have one booked for next weekend. It's definitely a treat for me. Not something we can swing all the time. My upcoming one is apart of a birthday gift certificate. I probably get around 3 a year?

Yes, very rarely, but I craaaaave them. I would have one weekly if I could afford it. And in a reputable place, you aren't ever "naked" because of the sheet placement. Like, you don't even feel naked because they keep you under a warm top sheet and the just expose the body part they are working on, like one leg out at a time, then one arm out at a time, then pulled down to do your back (while your legs are covered), etc. And they have a very good "roll" technique where they hold the sheet up and you roll to your back and they place the sheet over your front and they can't see anything while you turn.
The only awkward massage I've ever had was a couples massage--it was a GREAT massage but for some reason I kept my thong on (thank god) and a man was doing my massage and he was great--great pressure--but he was doing a massage that involved a lot of like, lifting my leg for these deep stretches. And all that felt great but that was the only massage where I felt like the sheet was not covering everything because he was lifting my legs and arms so high. I kept feeling air hitting my bits and I honestly don't know what all he could see--and my BF at the time was a foot away on the next table. I was grateful I'd worn a thong (because normally I wear nothing) because for SURE everything would have been exposed if I weren't wearing it. As it was, I'm pretty sure my whole behind was exposed a few times.

I never have, I'm too much of a cheapskate and I'm never really achy or anything. However I did go to a chiropractor twice during pregnancy and I'm considering going again now that I delivered 2 weeks ago.

Nope.. Closest thing was when I got a body scrub. I'm super ticklish and just don't like people touching me lol!

Yes. I have one on a regular basis. I love it. I always ask for a female therapist to avoid any weirdness.
