I joined a twin moms group. I haven't been to any meetings, though. It was helpful in buying and selling baby items and the free preemie loaner clothes that is available to us.

I don't really have time for that sort of a thing. I am too worn out on the weekends!

Only FB groups; I WOH FT, so I can't make most meet up's these various groups have.

I joined baby groups when my two were younger. They put me in a group according to my child's age. I'm not really in touch with my older child's group anymore because the people I was close to in that one have all moved. I still see moms from my younger child's group, but not that often.

I joined when my son was a newborn. So almost 2 years ago. They are now some really great friends of mine. It was so nice having women in the exact same boat as me and we all clicked. There are 10 of us and to be honest, we don't even do much with kids or during the day. Mostly we email and chat about kid stuff and get dinner in the evening every month or so.

I joined a meetup group when my oldest was born and met two moms who live in my neighborhood that I'm good friends with now. I'm not part of the meetup group anymore because most of their events were during the week, but I am now an organizer of our neighborhood families group and the majority of our stuff is on the weekends.

I've joined a few, but my favorite one so far has been Hike It Baby! Almost all of our gatherings for our particular chapter are on the weekends since most of us work.

I've also found it really hard to make mom friends as a working mom. There's just so little time to foster friendships.

I joined MOPS and junior service league. My MOPS group is great because everyone is SAHM and we do playdates and Facebook group, but for making friends I really like JSL because the women are very diverse. My MOPS friends are great but it is tempting to only talk kids.
