Dh and I went to see Unbroken this afternoon. It was so, so, so good! I really want to read the book now.

I saw it Christmas Day. It was beautifully done but hard to watch. He was an inspiring individual for sure.

We saw it yesterday bc DW's parents wanted to see it. Honestly not my kind of movie at all. IMHO there is enough sadness and anxiety in life without seeking it out in entertainment!! They loved it though.

I read the book when it came out...it is one of my favorites ever. I hate how I heard the last few chapters in the book were left out of the movie. Can't wait to see it though.

No but I read the book and didn't really care for it. So if I see it, it will be in a while once it is released to dvd.

I haven't seen it, but I LOVED the book - even more so after learning about the author's debilitating condition and how challenging everyday life is for, let along writing a novel.

I wanted to, but DH said there's a ton of torture scenes in the book, which I find really hard to watch/read. So I'll probably skip it.

I thought the book was amazing and I have no desire to see the movie. Parts were hard to read, my imagination is plenty!

@mrbee: Yup! She has CFS. I was sad to read of her separation, but so excited to read that she's chosen her next project and can't wait to read it!
