There are lots of things about the site that sometimes we miss, forget, or don't know about!
My favorite is clicking the thread title and it brings you to the last comment you read!
Another tip: to make sure someone gets their reply email, click the "reply" link in their comment. Typing @username won't send the email

I was SO happy when I learned clicking on the number of posts takes you to the last post. Especially for the monthly threads that can get super long.

@MaryM: it does! but if you want to catch up from where you last read, if you click the thread title, it should bring you right to the last comment you read. both are pretty handy!! sometimes it doesn't work for me, I just go back to the main page and click again.

Last read is definitely my favorite.

@sorrycharlie: I'm not positive, but I think that feature (clicking on title to go to last read) might be Gold only.
