@Mrs D: I had my cry fest last weekend. I think I knew then it wasn't my month.

I've seen evap lines before where if you tilt the stick you see almost a shiny spot with no color, but this seems different. Am I a crazy person (you can say yes)?

That does look very faint, what DPO are you?

@AnonMom: i can see the area you're talking about, but at least on this screen, i can't see any color there. that said 9DPO is suuuper early so i wouldn't not at all be surprised if that turns into a BFP in a couple days! test again in the morning & please keep us posted! fingers crossed tomorrow's is darker (but 10DPO is still early!). good luck! =)

so today i went to walmart to pick up some dig tests after someone mentioned on another thread that they were inexpensive there. i bought a bunch of other things while i was there and when she went to scan the test, she goes, 'a little extra christmas present maybe? would a baby be a good thing or a bad thing?' ummm..... WTF?! so startled by her question i said, 'babies are always good things!' to which she replied, 'not always, most people i know didn't have any on purpose! i got 2 and a stepdaughter. would this be your first?' really, i'm 28 and wearing a wedding band, what would make her think that i'm not in a position to have a baby & that if that were the case i'd wanna talk to her about it?? most awkward checkout EVER! when i was leaving she goes, 'good luck with your test!' in case anyone in the store was wondering about what i was buying and my family plans... so weird! amazon all the way next time!

@mrs. bird: awkward!!! That is why I have just decided to buy all things baby related on amazon. Easier, plus I don't get those stupid unwanted remarks.

I have absolutely zero willpower. I tested today at 9dpo, negative (surpriiise, surprise!). Seriously, freaking out... Like I said, it wouldn't be "bad," (we've been planning on starting Jan. 1st due to short term disability kicking in), but it would just be...totally unexpected! Sigh...we'll see what the next few days bring!

Please tell me I'm not alone in freakishly early testing?!

@mrs. bird: I'd DIE. I ordered a few off of Amazon, but since I burned one up on 9dpo (HA), I'm thinking I might have to make a WalMart trip today...ugh.

@ms.janedoe: every month I say I won't, and every month I test way too early. 9 DPO here too. Got my first positive at only 10 DPO with my first so that feeds my crazy of course.

@mrs. bird: Awkward! I went to Rite-Aid in my husband's (very small) hometown today for a test, and it set the alarm off after I paid. Then she yelled across the store that it was a pregnancy test and I just about died of embarrassment. We haven't told his parents that we're trying, and news travels fast here. Sigh.

Okay now I feel crazy because it definitely looks like nothing in the picture. But IRL there is a definite band... would an evap line show up after 5 min? It is so faint I really can't tell if there is color. Ahhhhhhhhhh

@AnonMom: how long ago did you pee? Maybe stop drinking and see if you can hold it for at least a couple hours. But most come with more than one test in case you cave early
