We did an elective scan at 17 weeks and the moment was a bit of a let down (not the gender, just the moment). We will be going TG for this one.

@hilsy85: Actually, we got the Panorama with the $25 cap, though the lab we used was stopping the cap (literally the day after we had blood drawn; so glad we made it in under the wire!). Like I said, insurance doesn't consider us high risk, so they don't cover it.

18 weeks with LO1 at anatomy scan
13 weeks with LO2 with harmony blood test

@Foodnerd81: my OB also let me get it done (the harmony test) and I am 28, low risk, but just wanted it. She said some of the major hospitals in Boston are automatically giving it to every single patient regardless, but I don't go to one of those anymore.

@NovBaby1112: my OB said she thinks those tests will eventually replace the NT bloodwork, since they are more accurate. So will likely be offered to everyone at that point as well!

@hilsy85: yep - we know! But only DH and I do.
I have to admit I kind of miss being but I think to feel comfortable in this pregnancy, I needed something (someone) to connect to.

@Foodnerd81: You can get the panorama blood test from 9 weeks and on. I got mine at 9 weeks! So I will have the results by 11 weeks - super early! Yay!
