I flush solid logs and then I put the diapers in the Diaper Genie. Runny poop goes in the Genie right away. We don't use disposables FT so I only change it about 1-2 a month with no smell issues...at least I think it doesn't smell!

Pee diapers go in the diaper pail, poo diapers go into plastic bags (like grocery bags) and down our garbage chute (we live in an apt building). I am sometimes guilty of letting a poop diaper (in a bag) hang on the door handle for a little bit!

All goes in the Dekor.

We put everything in our Ubbi. There's no smell (even with toddler diapers) as long as it's closed.

We haven't started solids yet (I need to get on that...) so I just have a regular cheap-o white plastic garbage can. We have t really had any issues so far with stink (EBF), but I think I need to get a plan in place pretty quick!

Haha, I have to laugh because this is my problem. We CD, and are supposed to put the diapers in a wet bag. I usually just start stacking them on top of the washing machine until DH gets pissed off enough to deal with them himself. So, from the perspective of the forgetful spouse - I apologize!!!

@Amelieisme: I bet he wouldn't be forgetful if he all of a sudden saw dirty diapers on his pillow at night!

I appreciate the effort, but when my husband does stuff like this, I have to remind him that his help creates extra work for me!

We reuse all the plastic bags we get at the store. I'll pile in a few wet ones then throw the bag in the outside trash. If it's a particularly bad #2, it goes out right away.

We only have one LO at the moment, but my husband does the same thing with the diapers. I'm convinced that it's his natural flightiness inherited from his parents. I have to constantly remind him to clean up the diapers. Otherwise, we use a Diaper genie for the dipes.

@swurlygurl: haha we CD & I will often dunk a runny poo diaper in the toilet & let it "soak" & tend to other things. Hours later DH will go to use the hallway bathroom & he cant...He gets so mad lol
