I have something like HFM so LO (3.5yo) is watching a lot of TV. I think she's on hour 2 or 3. I'm pretty sure she could watch for 6 or 7 hours if I let her. She's never fallen asleep in front of the TV or left it voluntarily. Once I turned the TV on in the middle of the night when she had bronchitis and needed breathing treatments. After trying to get her down I fell back asleep on the couch but she was still transfixed when I woke up at 3am. MIL always tried to get LO to fall asleep to a movie but it has never worked. We don't usually watch much TV because LO is obsessed so while she's like to consume tons she doesn't get to.

Lol at that last option. We were totally like that for her first year or so! My DD can't sit still longer than 30 minutes to an hour. She has to constantly be finding me, seeing what I'm doing, "helping", jumping, eating, or just doing something at nearly all times. That being said, I'm sure she would prefer that I leave it on all day while she does all those things, but then we'd never go outside! Haha.
My LO has never fallen asleep in front of the tv either. I've tried a few times for various reasons but it's never worked.

Maybe up to 2 hours. She can sit through a movie. I voted haven't turned it off since we came home. Honestly we keep the tv and lights on almost 24/7. I was up breastfeeding late at night and needed the noise so I didnt freak out. She tends to play with her toys while the tv is on though. She goes back and forth depending on what's on.

Mine is like yours, he'd be tired but will never fall asleep with the tv on. I think he could go 5+ hours but I've never left it that long for him! After about 2 hours he does get up and sort of jumps around though so I voted 3-4 hours, though he gets mad when I turn it off.

DS is the same age and could watch all day. He will only really watch for about 30 minutes then he goes to play. But good luck to us when we try and turn it off. Even super sleepy and sick he won't fall asleep watching a movie.

When my kids are sick they can watch TV all day long. They are usually miserable and don't want to do anything else. On normal healthy days, LO1 could watch TV for hours if allowed, as long as it's a show he is interested in. LO2 loses interest after 15 - 30 minutes.

It depends on the context and what she's watching. When we drove home for Christmas last year, LO watched the Elf on the Shelf movie EIGHT times in a row.
It's 23 minutes long so that's about 3 hours.

Definitely 5+ if I let her! That's like 3 Disney movies in a row and she's totally watched 2 and asked for a 3rd!

During the Olympics this year, I accidentally fell asleep on the couch watching swimming and gymnastics with DD who is almost 3 (don't judge me I'm pregnant!!). I turned it on at 8ish and when my husband walked in the door at 11:45 DD was sitting quietly on my legs, still watching the Olympics. I'm pretty sure she could watch TV indefinitely.... Wish I had never allowed her to watch TV because she is turning into a monster about it and we having to wean her off of it now.
