5.5 hours?!? I had most of my monitoring locally, though. No complaints here whatsoever.

The local office where I go for appointments and monitoring is 30-60 minutes depending on traffic, but then just 15 minutes from work. The main office that I have to go to for procedures is an hour away.

My RE is about 15 minutes from home and 5 min. from work. It is handy, and I love my doctor, but they are more expensive than many others in the area.

I was so lucky. My RE is 45 minutes away, but they opened up an office for monitoring appointments just 10 minutes from where I live. The local office is open 4 days a week, so most of the time I went there. The other 3 days, and for procedures, I went to the office that is farther away.

Mine has a suburban monitoring office about 15 minutes away, but many of my appointments were in the city more like 45 minutes away.

After DH had his TESE surgery I had to do a crazy runaround trip to get the frozen samples to my clinic. First I had to pick up the tank at my clinic on the north side of the city. Then I had to
drive the tank downtown to the hospital where the surgery was done. DH (with his wheelchair) and I had to park and go into the hospital to sign paperwork and get the samples. Then we drove back to the clinic to drop off the samples. Ugh!

First clinic was about 30 minutes from home and 10 minutes from work. Second clinic is about 40 minutes from home and 5 minutes from work.

My RE was about 15-20 min from both my office and my house, but it's in the same building as DH's office which was really nice. (As is my OB and the hospital where I delivered LO. )

My local RE is 45 minutes from home. I traveled 13.5 hours to the clinic where I did my EA transfer.

@bluestriped bee: I have friends who fly to Colombia for IF treatments because it is sooooo much cheaper there.

The clinic is just at the end of the block where my office is...so less than a 10 minute walk and it is about a 45 minute subway ride from my house.

My first clinic was about 15 minutes from home, but we only did oral meds and TI with them. I commute to work so when I switched, I chose the one near my work, about 15-20 minutes away with traffic. If I was going to the clinic straight from my house it would take about 45 minutes and then take me about 15 minutes to get to work after.

30min from home, 1hr from work. I only had one apt (the HSG) that I went to from work, which required leaving after lunch to make it by 2pm. All other apts I was coming from home doing the reverse commute.
