How much coffee are you ladies drinking in your pregnancy? I just entered my third trimester and have been drinking 1/2 caf lattes for the past month or so. I try to only have one every other day. I feel guilty if I have more than that. Please share how much and what kind you're drinking.

In my third tri I had a cup of regular coffee during the work week and a half caf latte on the weekends. I was getting terrible headaches and caffeine helped a lot. My doctor is the one who told me to start drinking it!

One latte on Saturdays. I'm really sensitive to caffeine so I avoid it when I can. Pregnancy insomnia is killer for me.

In third tri (31w) - 2 mugs of coffee at home a day. It's within allowable limits so I don't feel the least but guilty about if.
ETA: I had a cup a day even in the first tri

I am 35 weeks and I have had at least one cup of coffee a day since around 16 weeks when I was able to stomache it. I get headaches if I don't have caffeine in my system, and the amount of caffeine I ingest is below the appropriate levels during pregnancy.

I have caffeine every day. I switched to half caf at home and get decaf if I get it from a coffee shop (unless im really craving a peppermint mocha...then i go for it! But thats only once a month or so). I still drink soda too, but I keep my intake below the 200mg and dont worry about it other than that.

I'm 28 weeks and have been having one small cup a day every day since the beginning. I tried giving it up but just couldn't hack it, and my doc said it was fine.

In third trimester and still not having any caffeine unless I have a terrible migraine.

1 cup of regular every day. I rarely get to finish it though, thanks to a busy toddler.

I'm 22 weeks and drinking one cup of decaf with a splash of regular every day. Sometimes I also have a decaf frappuccino in the afternoon.

3rd trimester- 1-2 cups of regular coffee a day. Sometime I drink tea or soda- so when I do that I adjust my coffee intake!

22 weeks, 1 cup of regular every day. Sometimes a decaf drink from the coffee shop, or one of those mini pepsis or cokes in the afternoon.

Usually one regular cup a day or full caffeine small sized latte a couple times a week. When I was pregnant with my son I only ordered decaf lattes till I read about the chemicals they use in those things. Now I get the real deal unless im at a fine organic coffee shop or something.

22 weeks, a small iced regular coffee every single day since around 12 weeks when the MS let up and I could stomach coffee again! Occasional caffeinated soda, maybe once a week.

12 weeks, 1 small cup of coffee most mornings. Sometimes I can a cup of tea instead of coffee. I have been doing this since I got pregnant

i'm not a coffee drinker but i'm guilty of drinking coke. i try to limit it... the caffeine is under the suggested amount but i know the sugar is awful for me! i have just been struggling with crazy food aversions, etc, and coke always seems to makes me feel better! so... i'm guilt free about it. i never have more than a half can a day usually.

I just try to keep it to 200mg of caffeine per day (as per my doctor's instructions). Usually that means a grande latte (150mg). I like to leave myself bit of room in case I want a soda or some tea at some point in the day.

Last pregnancy I was having 1 cup only in my third tri. This pregnancy I have one cup every morning &have been since about week 8. I don't drink soda or sweet tea so occasionally I'll have a second cup in the afternoon if I'm really dragging or want a treat. Pre pregnancy I was having 4 cups a day so I think I'm doing pretty good! lol

I have one pour over at home every day. Occasionally I will have a Coke or tea. I'm 21 weeks.

Zero, the smell off coffee right now in my first trimester makes me want to vomit. Yuck.
I can't even wash DH's coffee mugs! Thank goodness for dishwashers!

I'm not having any right now. I stopped during IVF and now that I am in my first trimester and nauseous, I don't even want it. I also am having horrible heartburn so I'm sure that is turning me off of the coffee too.

@Mrs. Lion: I'm the same. I'm not a coffee drinker but I love pop (especially Coke Zero) and have still been drinking it. I've been buying caffeine free at home but don't worry at all about drinking caffeinated when I'm out and about because I am well below 200mg a day.

I am just barely, barely pregnant but I switched over to half caff k cups by Green Mountain. Had my first today...not bad!

After the first trimester, I have had one cup of an espresso type drink a day, and occasionally a second cup with decaf coffee. Espresso has less caffeine than brewed coffee, so I definitely don't feel guilty about it at all.

Not pregnant, but when I was I drank my normal amount. Two cups in the morning - didn't feel guilty at all!

When I was pregnant with LO I did not drink one single drop from the moment I found out (I did eat chocolate though). This thread is making me feel a lot more relaxed about drinking it next time!

I have a not-small cup of home-brewed SB Morning Joe blend. Never skipped a day in this pregnancy. It's actually one of my favorite parts of my day:). I love those first hot delicious sips

Oh and I will also have iced tea at lunch , not worried about that at all...

One cappuccino, latte or one cup of regular coffee a day throughout both pregnancies.

I've been drinking 1-2 cups a day my entire pregnancy (28 weeks). I have 1 cup every morning, then 1 in the afternoon some days (or sometimes a diet coke instead).
