I went through toys at the beginning of the summer to sell/donate. I'm thinking I should go through them again before Christmas to make room for new ones. I'm always afraid I will regret getting rid of certain things though, and feel guilty getting rid of toys that were gifted.
How often do you go through and clear out toys to donate or sell?

Never with toys. We might still have one more so I keep everything. I do plan on putting some toys out of rotation so I can bring some infant toys out.

Never, unless you count when we moved at 2 years of age. I passed on a bunch of my son's baby toys.

I go through and donate about twice a year, once in the summer near LO's birthday, and once before the holidays. I find that everyone, including LO, gets overwhelmed with too much stuff and we don't have much storage space.

Never. She really doesn't have many toys (they all fit in one 12x12 bin) so she's quite attached to the ones we have, and we'll likely have another so if/when she outgrows her toys we'll set them aside for #2.

Quite often!
My youngest is 3.5 so as she outgrows stuff it gets donated or sent to consignment.
I am saving some things though for the day when my grandbabies come visit me

About every 6 months. I keep a few things and generally give away or donate everything else. She's 2.5, so we've really gotten rid of all her baby toys in the last year or so.

haven't quite worked up the energy to do this since we are hoping to have another and i'm saving almost everything regardless of whether LO liked it or not.

Almost every baby toy and outfit was borrowed (or hand-me-down) to someone that is having another baby in the next few months so it's all gone.
We recently started acquiring larger "imaginative play" toys so I need to get rid of some of the early toddler toys that I don't want to see again round #2.

Following! Our toy situation is out of control and after two years of ignoring most of this stuff, DS has decided he must play with all the toys, every day. I'm spending half my time on weekends tossing cars out of the kitchen

Not often enough! I figure I'll let LO2 play with LO1's toys, and then get rid of them when she's done with them.

I go through toys every couple months and put in storage, but I will sell/donate most of them as soon as this next baby outgrows them. We will keep some for gifts and their favorites (sentimental) but that's it!
