He's only been solo for one long wknd, when I went to Vegas with friends. And a handful of times when I have a late night at work or if I have a day time event during DS' nap (shower, etc.)
My flex/wah schedule keeps me around the house and he has to be out of house for most of his work.

He does solo every weekday morning solo (gets her up, dressed, fed, drops her off). But I've never been away overnight.

Never overnight, but at least once a week he has the baby the entire day while I go to work. I work part-time and he's a pilot with a weird schedule, so it works out that way at times. He really enjoys the time with our son!

maybe a couple times a month. he's doing all day Friday afternoon - Sunday because I have weddings. LO always goes to sleep later and parties harder when he's solo!

Never. Well, maybe a couple of hours here and there when I have to work late. It's going to be a whole new ball game this fall now that she eats real food and not just breastmilk.

At least every third weekend while I'm working. 12 hour shift plus a long commute means I'm gone 5:45am to about 9pm. I miss seeing M for the whole weekend, but DH does a great job!
I think the fact that he knows what it's like to be one on one with a toddler for a whole weekend really helps our parenting balance.

Every day, all day. At least in the summer. He works an after school job so during the school year it's still every day but like 7am-2pm before J goes to daycare.

So far every Monday night when I go out to girls night. Then other times I've gone for dinners and such with friends. And of course if I run out to the store and such. Hasn't done an overnight yet, but probably will next month.

He did it for 4 days when I was in the hospital when C was 2 weeks old, but that's the only overnights of true solo parenting. He's had her a few times when I've going out to run errands or gone out with friends, but I don't really consider that solo parenting.

Most mornings from 9-11, and three mornings a week from 9-12:30. Then usually once a week I get out for 4-5 hours to work, usually on his day off. He never does bedtime, though.

Yeah, ummmmm...never.. It irks me because he literally has NO idea how hard/exhausting it is! Then again, neither if us has ever spent the night as a solo parent. (I've done a full day and bedtime many, many times, though!)

Two business trips including one this week. It's only a few hours of solo parents duty per day if she's healthy. She had pneumonia on my first trip so no daycare + extra fussiness. He handles it well.

Once a month when I go to book club. He basically has her for 1-2 hours before bedtime, but he does have to do dinner/bath/bed by himself which is not the easiest.
Very occasionally he will take her with him to run an errand or stay with her while I run an errand.

Every Thursday he picks her up from nursery (daycare) and, as its my late night at work, I don't get in until after E gas gone to bed. That amounts to maybe 2 hrs solo. Then on a Friday he picks her up but I'm home from work about an hour later. On a Sunday, he occasionally gives me a lie-in (if he wasn't working Sat morning) = 2hrs. So that's 5 hrs per week every week. Very occasionally I go out with friends but that's after E's bedtime so although he's technically solo parenting she is asleep!! I've been away overnight (for work) once.

Our LO isn't here yet but when she is DH will be solo parenting on Mondays while I'm in school (to change each semester) and two overnight shifts a week as that is when I'm at work. Maybe 3 shifts, we're not sure yet. So like almost 50%?

DH does weekday mornings on his own, but it mostly consists of getting her dressed and taking her to the nanny share, and other random other things where I'm gone for a few hours. I doubt he has ever gone more than 5 hours by himself and never overnight. (Not that he wouldn't/couldn't, but the occasion hasn't come up yet.)

Until 7:30 or 8:30 in the morning, most weekdays, which ends up being an hour or two, 5 days a week. DH is then gone until early evening, which means he's home in time for bedtime to help me, but not much solo parenting overall for him.

This thread makes me feel bad for my husband hahaha. He has gone it alone for a lot of my business trips. The longest stretch he had was when I went to the UK for 9 days. He does a great job solo.

He does a couple mornings a month when I have to work early, he's done a 3 day weekend where I went away with friends, and he does a weekend day here and there if there is something I want to do. He's awesome!

Hardly ever! Last week, I started picking up exercising again so DH will solo parent for an hour 1 or 2 days a week. Not bad at all given he's never solo parented before; and DS is 1 now!

Fairly regularly. I've had a bunch of business trips since I came back from maternity leave. And coming up next week, I'll be gone for another three day work trip! I think it's great for them to have "guy time" together and honestly, they're often less whiny when I'm not around, asking for mommy to hold them! That's not to count the days that I've had to work late, which are not super regular, but I know DH totally has it covered when I do.
